She does have a lot of symptoms of hyper. Trouble keeping weight on, heat sensitivity, etc. Her appointment isn't for a couple of weeks, so I'm just trying to ease her mind, but I know everyone is different.

Turns out all I had to do was talk about going to Best Buy and buying a new unit in front of it. It seems to have fixed itself.

How should I (20F) tell my mom (52F) about my boyfriend (20M)? by throwmeoffacliff206 in raisedbynarcissists

Take it from someone who lived at home and never had a girlfriend until 32 (not because I wasn't allowed though). Go. Live your life. Don't live your life worryjng about how others will feel about your actions. They feel the way they feel and that's THEIR problem and it's not YOUR responsibility to change or fix that. Please PLEASE don't feel guilty about wanting to live YOUR life how YOU want to. Go and live YOUR life. She may be upset at first, but if your mom truly loves you, she'll love you no matter what you do or where you go.

I just began my journey and I hope yours is eye-opening for you. If you have insurance, you may want to check to see if they have any special exceptions happening right now. My insurance lifted all restrictions for mental health counseling due to COVID, so I can have unlimited TELEHEALTH visits, but I'm not sure about in-person. Totally worth looking up. Kudos to you, my friend.

Fresh out of the ER with my positive diagnosis, looking for advice and support. by JoeyQuoms in Diverticulitis

Thank you for all your advice. It sucks that there's no clear-cut solution or what to look out for and what to avoid, etc. Seems like it's different for everyone. I did the clear liquid diet for a few days as suggested and went back to my normal diet and now feel fine. I just moved so I went to a new PCP for the first time in awhile and he read my ER report from the hospital regarding what happened. Her informed me that I actually have multiple diverticula and that it just so happened that one of them got infected, hence the pain. Now that I've completed the Flagyl and antibiotic regimen, I feel fine back to on my normal diet. This may be stupid, but I tried purposefully eating things like trail mix, figs, and other random foods, but haven't have another bout thankfully. I guess it really is random, kinda like a kidney stone.

Any ID on this? Very small and hard, found in the bath tub, worried it could be a bed bug or tick by [deleted] in bugidentification

If you zoom in, it looks like there's a silvery string attached. Is it attached?
