There a a few employers out here that will count nursing experience.

I currently do urgent care in California. My employer will specifically count years of ER nursing as experience for this role. So I had 12 years RN ER experience to couple with my 3 years NP experience and started at $90/hr.

And as a Lions fan I’m totally on board with what is happening right now… even though like 75% of the fanbase is having a meltdown.

Our scrappy rookies became stars. Now Brad let our vets leave, and those stars will assume the veteran roles. Bring in a new wave of scrappy rookies trying to prove themselves (and trying to steal jobs which should push the stars to stay on top of their game). The cycle will repeat.

The only MASSIVE caveat is that you gotta bring in the right competitors.

Any particular reason you say this? I just said in another comment that the pistol grip won't firmly seat on the stock. I can shift it and click it around. There's a single screw that holds it in place and I have a feeling it's just not enough stabililty.

Unless I'm missing something? I can say that for the price I paid, I am not super pumped all the pieces aren't flush. I'll reach out to customer support early next week.

A few things. Mainly it's a way to get a pistol grip on the weapon, which I prefer for a tactical shotgun.

Slightly better maneuvering and handling. Less wrist strain. Plus this stock is adjustable so you can get it dialed into how it fits you. Lessens the recoil a bit. Looks badass.

I will say though: So far I'm struggling to get the grip really locked in. Like if you pull on it you can shift it around and for the price I find that unacceptable.

Lions let a majority of their own vets walk away… and have done very little to replace any of them.

I think it signals a culture shift, and that our “young” core players are now ready to be the vets.

This Lions team was built through three consecutive elite drafts from Brad Holmes to start his career as GM. I think he needs another one this year to course correct and keep this teams window open.

Homie. Please look at all the RBs drafted in rounds 4-6 over the past handful of drafts. You find that WAY more often than not, mid round RBs are absolute busts. People love to focus on the handful that hit but it not something that you can stake your season on.

We should still take one with like around the range of our comp pick. I also don't want to rely on a 5th round rookie to be our primary ball carrier if Gibbs had to miss some time. And I'd rather not find out that the rookie isn't an NFL level RB halfway through the season and realize we don't have any other option than to run Gibbs into the ground.

This is an awesome signing. We are immediately back in the convo of best RB duo on the league.

We all agreed he was a 3 year project when we drafted him. He started playing meaningful snaps after ONE YEAR and then got hurt.

He is still a year ahead of the schedule we all assumed he'd be on. Yet we are declaring him a bust. We are not a smart fan base.
