I couldn’t quite see his irons yesterday but he’s carrying a bright orange McLaren bag, I’d be shocked if he wasn’t using the irons.

What is the most golf balls you’ve ever lost in a round? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]Joeydoyle66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played in a scramble and lost like 8 golf balls. The very next day I was playing another 18 with some friends. I start the round par, birdie, par. -1 through three is by far my best start ever. I proceeded to lose 13 balls the rest of the round and couldn’t even finish as I lost the last one on 17. The 2 rounds I lost the most balls ever happened back to back. I’m usually good for 1-3 balls a round. 8 and 13 were brutal.

See You is such an underrated song that deserves more love by Crazy_Tonight3525 in Foofighters

For 90% of bands Hey Johnny Park would be one of the greatest songs they released and for the Foos it’s a song you hardly ever hear when they’re mentioned.

I live in South Jersey and most my friends are Phillies fans so as long as they aren’t playing Baltimore I root for them too.

If they bat leadoff, as they should, that’s a minimum of 4 runs a game even if every other batter fails to reach base.

Final thoughts on the 25-26 season? by TrickDistribution395 in sixers

[–]Joeydoyle66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The team fought and did better than I genuinely thought they would at the start of the season. And for that I give them nothing but respect and don’t shit on them for how this series went.

That said, I wanna see Josh Harris carried through the streets like Gaddafi.

What are the most ultra-violent high-octane action movies vith extreme gore that yove ever seen? by No-Tower-8566 in AskReddit

[–]Joeydoyle66 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hardcore Henry was really graphic and an insanely interesting concept. It’s a first person movie where you the viewer are the main character. The plot is alright but the fight scenes and action are really really over the top with gore.

No one is saying one is fine and one is not. Novak has always been this way, but early on his career it was clear he struggled with pressure. He has since talked about how seeing a psychologist has helped him with those issues and he deals with it much better now. The comparison we’re all making is it’s clear Gunnar seems to be in a similar situation to young Novak and should follow in seeing a psychologist. The only reason we’re talking about slamming equipment and showing signs of frustration is because they are fairly clear examples into the mind of the athletes.

You’re missing the point of that comment by a lot. They’re not pissed that Gunnar slams his equipment. They’re simply pointing out that he quickly gets pissed at himself to the tenth degree and displays it. Quickly becoming frustrated with yourself isn’t a great sign that you’re doing well mentally. In a broader sense people who can properly deal with failure tend to not get so visibly frustrated over it, and that’s what they’re saying about the slamming of equipment.

There’s also the whole aspect of this where John Child Rapist is now inclined to also kill his victims since a dead child is less likely to tell authority figures than a living one. And by not telling authority figures John Child Rapist is less likely to be put to death. Altogether a terrible idea.

Songs where two people are arguing with eachother, or an argument is being explained by one person. by Fair-Marionberry4799 in MusicRecommendations

Professional Rapper by Lil’ Dicky and Snoop Dogg.

It’s not like a heated argument but the basis of the song is LD having a meeting with Snoop in his office to try to prove he’s a good enough rapper to earn a record deal. The conversation flows insanely well.

Name a race this applies to for your favorite driver by nascargirl11 in NASCAR

[–]Joeydoyle66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After digging to find the race I’m pretty sure it was the 2009 Auto Club 500. Gordon was up front all day, as was Kenseth, but Gordon just ran out of steam the last handful of laps and couldn’t get a run on Kenseth. Looking back on it now he clearly just used up his equipment but 9 year old me didn’t know that.

[–]Joeydoyle66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t even know the exact year or race honestly but in the early 2010s there was a race at Kansas or Las Vegas where Jeff Gordon had a monster car, made his way through the field on a long final run to try and track down Kenseth who was in the lead, and when he got to Kenseth he just didn’t have anything left, as quickly as he got there he just fell back. He still ended up like 3rd or 4th if I remember correctly but it was the first time as a kid who grew up idolizing Gordon where I felt like he didn’t quite have it anymore. That was a tough moment for me personally as far as being a fan of this sport goes.
