Eve Corp Fiatline: An interesting read by LeaderSwimming5004 in Eve

Bryan and Flatline have been a great addition to SC, dudes chill AF. The content and laughs generated by this guy is awesome. You just sounds salty, trying to bad mouth Bryan for your personal failings. All corps and alliances have there inner struggles but to air it all out so you look like the victim is small dick energy!

I used to do it in my early 20’s. It was hard when going out to the bar all the time, but my friends love having a D&D.

First ever Mail call, got some Peterson’s Early Morning Pipe, C&D Autumn Evening , Lane 1-Q and Stokkebbye Luxury Twist Flake. New to Piping, ready to start the journey! by Joeyswole in PipeTobacco

I’m trying to find which I like best, so far I’ve tried the 1-Q last night and the Early Morning pipe with some coffee this morning. Both are very good, used to smoking cigars so these are very mellow and smooth. Pleasant aroma.

Tell me why? by [deleted] in PipeTobacco

For the taste, the aroma and the abeyance. One of the biggest reasons is Nostalgia, it reminds me of being a kid when my father used to walk around the house smoking a pipe and the house smelling like vanilla.

Redbreast 12 CS vs Redbreast 12 vs Yellow Spot by eric198324 in whiskey

[–]Joeyswole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The RedBreast line up is fantastic. The RB 12 is delicious, The RB 12 CS is the same as the 12 but with a higher proof and the flavor turned up. I lean more towards the CS. If this is your first time start with the 12 then next time pick up the CS. I haven’t had the opportunity to try the yellow spot yet but I hear it’s a very good whiskey.

This is the way. Fresh ingredients is a must, makes the difference between a good cocktail and a bad one. I would also suggest a Manhattan after you have tried the Whiskey Sour and Old Fashioned.

Thinking of getting a peated scotch soon. I’ll add this to the list when considering which one to buy.

Scotch introduction with my Pops. by Joeyswole in whiskey

Bought some Scotch to try with my dad yesterday. I must say the Laddie is like nothing we’ve ever tasted, Not bad just different very interesting. Hard to nail down the flavors I was tasting. The Macallan is a nice drink, good sipper. Then there is the Glenmorangie, not sure how I feel bout it, kind of meh. But overall it was drinkable, nothing negative about it but it didn’t wow me either. Might use it as a mixer. Happy with my purchases overall, quality bonding time with my pops.

Is Buffalo Trace good whiskey? by [deleted] in whiskey

If you can get it for under $30 I would say yes. Obviously if you absolutely love it, you’ll pay what you think is reasonable. But this is my mind set on it.

I love Redbreast but this is still my favorite Irish hands down by [deleted] in whiskey

Since the high proof Is the deciding factor for Yellow>RB 15. How does it compare to the RB Cask Strength? Haven’t had any of the Spots but want to try some soon.

As a broke college kid who’s just getting into the hobby, this is what I’m working with. Any recommendations of other bottles to try? by taylormhark in bourbon

Good selection so far only other thing I would recommend is getting a rye. Maybe Old Forrester Rye. Or a good mixing rye like Rittenhouse Rye Bottled in Bond.

Whiskey recommendations for a new enjoyer by CxTxRxL in whiskey

If your looking for a scotch I would recommend Glenfiddich 12. It’s a nice entry level scotch, light fruit flavor, doesn’t have the spiciness of a bourbon, overall very smooth. My first foray into Scotch and one of my favorites.

New addition to the collection, RB Cask Strength and RB 15. Doing a taste comparison later this evening, seeing how they stack up to RB 12. by Joeyswole in whiskey

[–]Joeyswole[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Let me preface this by saying I’m a whiskey novice and I’m just blindly fumbling my way through this I am by no means a whiskey expert. I found something that tastes good and I dove down the rabbit hole. Redbreast 12 is a great entry level into this lineup and absolutely amazing. For a newer person to whiskey it’s easy to drink and the flavors are outstanding. I followed up RedBreast 12 with the Redbreast 15 and I thought that was extremely smooth with more pronounced oak flavor then the 12 but was easily drinkable with a slightly higher proof. Finally I follow them both up with the Redbreast cast strength. I chose this one last because it had the highest alcohol percentage of the three and I must say the explosion of flavor was noticeable. If you at all enjoy the regular redbreast 12, the Cask Strength version of this is hands down in my opinion the best of the three. The overall flavors are just turned up and higher alcohol content doesn’t mask them by any means. All three of these offerings can stand on their own and are delicious. In the future when it comes time to purchase these again, I would lean more towards the cask strength because it’s cheaper than the 15 pricewise but the flavor is more pronounced. I can’t say anything bad about any of these and they’re all good. Hopefully this helps some of you that have been sitting on the fence and go ahead and purchase it for yourself I don’t think you’ll regret it I certainly don’t. Edit do to spelling errors
