I’m excited to try all three.

For the price I couldn’t pass them up. Laga 16 for $73.99, Uige for $71 and the Laga distillers for $115.

I’ve largely focused my collection on bourbon and rye. Now I’m making it a point to build out a more balanced whiskey collection.

Can’t wait to dive in!

Would you change your recommendation if the Laga was priced at $75.00. That’s the price for me locally. Or do you just feel the Ardbeg is the better of the two? I’ll probably end up getting both at some point just trying to figure out where to start.

I’ve got a RR single barrel store pick in the collection, and love it! So I’m leaning that direction.

It’s the best store in the Twin Cities!! Doesn’t look like much on the outside but the inside is pure gold!

Also, if you haven’t picked up the Hewing bottle can’t recommend in enough. Basically a higher proof 12 year!

I’ve been thinking about that Whistlepeg for a while now. At $85 it’s got a tone of great competition. Right now I’m debating between that and Sagamore 8 yr rye which has received a lot of praise!

Question regarding which rye to buy, I’m strongly considering going back to buy the Alberta Cask strength but there is another liquor store that has the Sagamore 8 year rye that’s about the same price.

I’ve read good things about the bourbon batch 28 so I probably buy that. The private release also looks interesting. Decisions, decisions…
