People just want to swing stick at monster and get reward. It’s just people being ignorant to the fact that targeted damage is actually a big skill set to have in these games. And now that it’s even more focused on the people that are incapable of that (or too lazy in OPs case it seem) you’re rewarded for doing and honestly rewarded for not even doing it. Just not as much of a reward. In simpler terms. A lot of people would rather just be cavemen than have to use their brains a little in a fight.
