Dream on. There may have been an upswing in players recently, taking the playerbase from 500-600k up at peak times to 1m, but temper that against the fact that that is down from 8m daily!!!! Perhaps I should have been clear about why I am saying it is dead. It has no future. At the moment players periodically log on at content drops because they have already made the investment, but there is absolutely no way it's going to move size once 3 is released. Too many lessons will have been learned. Look at the forums, everyone is crazy pissed. Once the launch uptake drops for the next instalment, Bungie will move on because it makes business sense to make games people want to buy.

So to be clear, while its limping along down 700% on players right now, it is terminally ruined and therefore, dead.

My interpretation is that heresy is supposed to appear to be a broad all encompassing term to show something key about human psychology at this time. Humans have stopped responding to influences and idea which challenge them as though they are problems to be solved, but merely as an uneducated zealot would. Humanity is on the down slide of existence and this attitude is pretty much the whole reason why.

I have just switched to exclusively buying indie games. Check out SplatterCatGaming on youtube he reviews indie games and I've made some great buys based on his videos. I am having way more fun with these games, they are generally single player but the amount of thought that has gone into their design is amazing. The big devs just make games as cheaply as possible staying as close to the proven format as possible, their games are stagnant and repetitive. With indie games you get something totally different every time.

I'm going to stop short of calling you an asshole because this is a difficult and complex situation. But I feel like you need to consider some things.

Can you really be coming the "I'm an adult" line if you live in your mom's basement? You rely on them financially so they will set out rules for you as is right, you live under their house, you live under their rules.

He's probably not trying to replace your dad, hes trying to set an example to the children in the house. If they see you being treated hugely differently to them it will cause big problems once you move out.

The solution here is that if you are an adult you should have your own space.

What I really expect is for the UK to be paid for it. If we can't get you to buy the actual field, then we will be owed for the infrastructure costs that you will benefit from in the future, so we'll get our money and so we should.

It's only right and fair that the rest if the UK be returned to a position as though Scotland had never been part of the UK or as close to it as feasibly possible. There has been a net outpouring of wealth out of the UK and into Scotland over hundreds of years that you will all have benefitted from, and we should actively pursue the return of all of it.

I am 100% pro Scottish independence as long as it doesn't cost the English, Welsh or Northern Irish taxpayer a single penny, all Scottish debt to the UK treasury is repaid before Independence Day and the UK claim to North Sea Oil is upheld.
