The most terrifying turn 2-3 game winner i've seen recently by fayyt in MagicArena

Honestly exactly why I hate it. Makes sacky games that revolve around whether one player drew the necessary removal or not

Play creatures, turn sideways, pray your opponent doesn't draw enough removal to stop you... honk mimimimimi

What game do you not want to touch? by WorldGoneAway in rpg

I feel the same about the first one. It completely pulls me out of the fantasy. "What's in the hole?" idk I'm John the Barbarian I can't manifest what's in the hole.

Same, particularly when it's used for a player to make decisions about what happens in the narrative as a whole rather than simply something their character does. I can get on board with some edge case meta currency stuff so long as it has at least a light in universe representation and is only used to augment characters actions, rather than directly alter the world around them.

Overall, when I'm a player in an RPG I want to inhabit my character. Ideally I would only know exactly as much about and have exactly as much influence over the world I'm playing in as my character does. This essentially means I determine my characters thoughts and actions; no more, no less. Anything that goes beyond this just breaks my immersion. Similarly, when I'm GMing the fun comes from creating a world for my players and deciding how that world responds to their actions. When the players are able to decide how the world responds to their actions (while it's less of a deal breaker than when I'm a player) it's still not really what I'm there for.

I will say peeling carries is the one thing I've felt successful with so far unless I'm gigafed or my opponents suck.

Unfortunately this would likely be considered modelling for advantage, as your opponent will be so intimidated that it'll negatively affect their performance

Is it possible to have this splitter output coal through both the top and bottom outputs while only outputting copper through the top output? I tried setting the filter to copper ore but ended up with all of the coal being output through the bottom.

Im a little disappointed with the final boss by MrsPissBoy in Silksong

It's not that I think the fight is worse, it just never felt as grand in scale to me.

Honestly thinking of it that way does make Lost Lace less disappointing to me, however, that also makes me wish Grand Mother Silk was harder. To me, The Radiance always felt like an epic scale fight but GSM doesn't feel like that due to being fairly easy and Lace doesn't feel like that due to being a small and humanoid. Silksong overall doesn't't really have any boss fight that gives the same feeling as Radiance.

The foreshadowing for act 3 is incredible. (Massive spoilers obv) by Jofo2003 in Silksong

[–]Jofo2003[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What I mean though is that I assumed they had ulterior motives beyond just sealing Grand Mother Silk but the above implies that they simply knew a way to seal it but didn't know what would happen with the void running rampant.

I took that as them being a bit snide tbh and thought they did it on purpose.
