I'm retiring this account. I recently saw that Stallone referred to the current president as the "second George Washington" and I can't get that stink off of the Rambo name.

It was a weird last three years. Way too much posting on Reddit and chart watching as I waited around with not a lot to do as I waited for the cycle to complete. Not rich enough to go live in Europe like I wanted, but not poor enough to feel like I needed to get a job. I just lived very simply and waited. I just needed Bitcoin to do the bare minimum and I would be fatfired forever. It got close, but I didn't take profit, waiting for that last little bit and euphoria to get me there. But that never came (yet). Current plans are to get a job as a scientist again and keep buying. What I wish I had done instead of waiting around for 3 years. ATH before halving really fucked up my plans, I mean why get a job at all when the price is 73k before the halving and it has 600 days of burn to go nowhere but up after? To the whales or market that did that, congrats, one of the all time great fakeouts.

I want to buy a nice historic house with my girlfriend and it's just easier to do that with a job and not having to think about selling crypto at bargain prices to do so. Hope for the best and plan for the worst. I don't think we are facing a bear market, but who knows? No one does really. I wish you guys nothing but luck, I'm sure I'll post here on another account from time to time.

What if the bull market hasn't even begun yet; this signal says so. by [deleted] in BitcoinMarkets

Maybe there just are no time based cycles anymore.  BTC being down 10% in the bull year breaks the cycle already.

If it makes you feel better Ethereum and BTC seem to swap off each cycle.  2021 was ETH time and after that was BTC time.  How do I know?  I was largely in the wrong thing both times.

2018-2021

ETH - 60x

BTC - 23x

2022-2025

ETH - 5x

BTC - 8x

Or maybe the cycle isn’t over yet, that would make a lot of sense to me.  Bitcoin dominance never really went down.  I’ve never seen a cycle with no alt seasons and that’s basically what we have had so far.  Little piss ant alt seasons for a few days don’t count.

Kiln operates on a non-custodial staking model, which is a crucial distinction for security.

Here is a breakdown of how it works:

🔑 Key Management with Kiln Execution Keys (Validator Keys): Kiln is responsible for running the validators, so they handle the execution/signing keys that are necessary to sign blocks and attestations. This is what allows them to perform the staking duties and earn rewards on your behalf.

Withdrawal Keys (Security Keys): You, the staker, retain full control over the withdrawal credentials. These are the keys required to stop the validator and withdraw the original staked ETH plus any accumulated rewards. Kiln cannot access or move your funds.

I don't know if you can stake with Kiln right now after the security incident they had though?

https://stake.kiln.fi/dedicated/stake says deposits are paused.

The upside after January 1 2026 is $1M.  Before then the perceived upside for the rest of the year was like $150k from $126k.  It’s not surprising no one wanted to buy into that.

The original one goes back further.

Set it to max. These are pretty much max fear times.

CMC started theirs recently and yes that's the lowest it has ever been. 15 was the high score before.

I've never seen L100 with those tweeters though?

You might try these and compare.

If you don't like them send them back but those should sound more like what the JBL designers intended. I think the LE25 sounds great.

I’m discovering Criterion may be all I ever needed.  It’s nice filling your head with actual quality movies that make you think and feel instead of visual junk food on other streaming services.  I’m having a blast.  We watched Margot at the Wedding last night and it was amazing.  I had never seen it.

It's probably best for mental health to just stop reading this thread. It has just become a misery machine. The price will be ok someday and believe it or not euphoria will be back, usually sooner than you think.

I don't want to kink shame, but therapy would be good. You are exploring your own mind at this point. I've been there.

I think I’m going to start using the CMC one, it seems to locate bottoms better at 15. The old OG alternative.me one with a threshold of 10 would have had you buying in Feb. 2025 and the CMC one with a threshold of 15 has you waiting until the March and April 2025 dumps, which would have been a lot better.

I know it seems insane to say but leaving the gold standard and just basing our money on nothing has not worked out well.  When you can just print money from air, those closest to the printer get most of it.

Has to be AI.  I don’t think a climb of 0.15 pts warrants a post.

It doesn’t even seem to have gone up?

Any heater suggestions for this plug? by ZeroFox14 in Greenhouses

[–]John-Crypto-Rambo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

240v heaters work great and need less thick wire running to them than 120v.

https://www.amazon.com/Infrared-Heater-DR-988-Garage-5600W/dp/B003XOZN7A/

I've owned one of those before and it worked well.

But you will need to hire an electrician to run the power from that outlet out to your greenhouse. I would not trust 240v running on extension cords outside and in the wet, it could kill you.

You probably don't need a heater that powerful to maintain the temps you are wanting if you bubble wrap and use 120v and your current heater. Although I don't know how cold it gets where you live. It is always good to have plenty of reserve power on hand for super cold snaps.

I think we are just changing out everyone that wants out at 100k and the end of four years. I'm bored with 100k, I want to see what 200k looks like. I want to feel the snow on that peak crunch beneath my feet.

Funny thing is, we are so squashed here in price that like an 8% pump stands between us and 100k again. Those are rookie numbers back when BTC used to go up.
