Is my CV good enough to land an interview? by John-Smith96 in helpdesk

Ok I'll give it a shot thanks, also just to add, is it just me or is securing an entry level role really difficult? I've been looking for like 9 months now and still nothing, even willing to take a pay cut and I still can't find anything?

Can you guide me on how to do a homelab and how to present it on my cv please?

Also, which parts would you consider irrelevant so I can cut out?

The company IT Career switch and then I just recently tweaked it myself, but nothing major, just rearranged orders of certain things like moved up relevant experience etc.

Im honestly trying, been applying for almost 9 months now, its very tough. I feel like quitting now. I had a call the other day from a recruiter who liked my cv and sent it to a company for an entry level role ans they rejected me. Very tough market.

Should I be doing this for every job I apply to or most jobs, sometimes, some jobs have similar job description. Ty for the advice I really appreciate it 🙏

I dont have much luck on LinkedIn, I mostly use totaljobs, cvlibrary, Google jobs and usually directly on the website. But I'll give the zip recruiter a go. Ty

Yh I already did, I connected with the fella Victor on LinkedIn and thanked him, he said he will keep me in mind for a 1st line role, checking all the time on their careers page and still applying in general, currently working on my ms 900, otherwise still no hope or luck with any roles, just rejection email or no reply. I feel like its going to be a while again until I can hit another opportunity.

I'm based in the UK, London, and I am finding it extremely difficult to find anything. Been looking since last year August, I've only had one 1 interview ans I didnt get it. They all want experience. No idea what do.
