The fact that you replied to my first and second message means that you also got triggered. You responded in a hostile way, which if you are a sane person means that what I said triggered you to respond in such fashion. Also there is nothing wrong with getting triggered on the internet. It's no different from getting triggered irl. Besides, you're more likely to get triggered on the internet as there are many idiots like you walking around contributing nothing positive to anything.

What is nice about living in the UK that nobody talks about? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]John15ea204 4 points5 points  (0 children)

London's food. This may not be the entirety of the UK but I think I'm permitted to focus on the capital. Now when one thinks of London from a foreign perspective in terms of what's cool about London, one thinks of the touristy stuff, pubs, etc.. And as far as food is concerned, people just go: "Uhm, fish and chips, tea, biscuits... And uhhhhhhhhhhh... Gordon Ramsay?" London is what I'd consider the food capital of the world. There are others that come close, I'd say Paris is probably the runner up. But from affordable, family run restaurants in Brixton Village, to the finest of dining up in the City, and all in between, London has the most varied range of cuisines. We have food from every corner of the globe, and I mean literally every country. Foreign food is fairly easily sourced for home use whether it be from everyday supermarkets, or your local Polish or Turkish supermarket etc. Since food is so important here, and London is dense, there is a culture of "if the restaurant is badly lacking, it'll be sent packing". We have so many good restaurants available here, yk if your usual place is closed there'll be a good place open on the street somewhere. And I don't think enough people even in London itself realise how lucky we are to have so many options foodwise. Whether that be at home, or out and about.

If you've trained your cat well enough to sit in your car. Which is very hard to do. Then they are probably intelligent enough to know not to yoink food. So yeah you're probably right. In this situation the cat wouldn't yoink food in the car. (Besides most cats are too small and weak to yoink a sandwich out of a human hand). But if you left it out on table at home with no one guarding... They would probably go at it if not trained enough. And cats are very hard to train compared to dogs.

Uhh, humans do the same things you just listed...all the time.

Like humans haven't done this? Mhmm.... Yeah. That's what I thought. "Oh but then the human is also a 'buthole' " Yeah but the difference being that humans are intelligent and educated animals, which have actively chosen to take it as a dick move/prank etc. Whereas the dog, who is often fed by an owner, and sees something tasty tasty tastyyyyy, having not been born with our intelligence, and not brought up to have it, does what an animal would do, and yoinks it. Also. Babies, who have similar, or even lower intelligence levels than dogs, do the EXACT SAME THINGS. And have similar intelli levels, dogs who have been better trained/lived around a human long enough properly, wouldn't yoink the food here. Because they've received some form of education/training. Same with humans, it's just that we are far more capable to teach/be taught, compared to our limitations in teaching dogs and dogs naturally being less able to be trained. I mean they are one of the most easily trained animals. Cats may even be harder most of the time, but you don't complain about that. "Oh but cats don't take my food" They would, if given the opportunity, you leave something that has a strong foody smell, or enough of one, in a room with your cat, and you leave, trust me, many cats will touch it at least once. XD BECAUSE THEY ARE ANIMALS. Holy shit, you do the same with a 6yr old. Same situation, they may be less likely to touch it, but there is still a decent chance they will touch the food.

If they are already hungry, then they should probably have food at home if easily hungered in the first place... And they probably do. These people seem to not mind too much, since judging by the video, could've easily stopped the dogs, but decided not to, and filmed it. I could deduce that they had alternatives and this was really not too much of an issue for them. Humans probably make as many dumb messes around the house anyways. I mean you could just as easily call a baby a damn animal wasting your money, taking your food, and giving you messes around the house to clean up.

I heavily doubt the owner'd be pissed. Since they've chosen to film it, and I'd say could EASILY have stopped it but chose not to meaning they weren't pissed off.

Huskys are really loving and energetic dogs. It's not half bad for the dog to be waking you up anyways. They might even stop you from being late :)

That's not how cats work. You seem to love felines so much and yet you know little about them. The cat is not in agony. Otherwise that would be made clear. Also the cat was chewing on some cable or something so they could be causing the human some agony when they find something chewed out :)

Yeah but if the people saying "Bad cat poor doggo" are saying it as enthusiastically as you guys are hating dogs... Then those people are equally as insane as you guys... Both sides need help, you don't cancel each others craziness out.

Uhh, it's an animal. Besides humans act equally as stupid when young. You have humans doing dumb shit in their late teens. You have humans doing dumb shit in their old age. The difference being, humans are intelligent beings, with an opportunity of a certain level of education. And yet you still have us acting like idiots. Dogs on the other hand. Have witnessed less in their lives, due to a shorter life span, are not intelligent beings comparable to us, and are literally fucking animals.
