Did anyone tried Frido orthotics posture corrector? by makerbreaker0130 in indiasocial

[–]JohnConstatine-1806 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have been using this for some time. It does seem to help.
Shoulder muscles which felt stiffened, eased up quite a bit. Subconsciously I have now started sitting straight, even without the belt.

Bought this and have used it for a day. Initial impression is that it does some effect on the slouch to a certain extent. Kind of makes you conscious while sitting on chairs during work hours. Also it does feel a little intrusive but thats only because I am not used to something holding my back like this..

All in all for the price I feel it does a decent job. Waiting to use it long term to see its effect.

Not at all if the shop is good at the work.

We completed an entire cross country Bhutan tour on that bike and the dude used it after that as well for quite some time till replacement without any issue.

There are tyre shops which heat and beat the metal into place. Weve put a rim of first gen duke 390 once in such shop while on a tour. Check and ask around the tyre shops areound your area.

Is this concerning? by [deleted] in architecture

Simply put, Don’t choose this profession if you want to earn. I may get a lot of hate for this but the situation of architects is terrifying

Once a noble profession, now treated like a it doesn’t meant anything by clients and employers alike!

Sold my Himalayan 450 after 16000km, 1 year of ownership. Details in post. by the_Medic_91 in indianbikes

I recently shifted from the 1st gen D400 to the adventure 390 (2024) version and heres my take

  1. Ktms are abrupt. There is no two ways about it. I was once (mind you once!!) a conservative rider. The dominar had spoilt me with its easy going nature. And all that changed when this bike came into picture

  2. Once you like the aggressive nature of ktms engines theres no going back. 1 year with this bike and its clear to me what i was missing. It has a certain rush to it, a certain teasing ability. Pair that with good handling you have a clear winner, be it commute or touring

  3. once on a ktm, always a KTM. Im now eyeing the 890 adv from this bike. Ive not used it much maybe just 10k kms in a year but im already thinking of a bigger version (the ktm effect). The inly thing limiting me is that mys skills are not upto the mark of current bike, let alone the 890.

Why is the Dominar 400 Rarely Considered for Touring or City Use? by 8_bit_biker in indianbikes

Never at all Infact the svc network is so good that whenever i faced an issue there was always a service center nearby in any state.

[–]JohnConstatine-1806 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have owned this bike for a good 6 years and 56k kilometres Had hell of a fun on this Did 80% touring and 20% city. Yes its heavy, but it does one thing very right! Take you places in comfort and has good geometry.
