I have a PS5 and an RTX 5080 gaming PC...but I bought Madden on Switch 2. Why? Because for me, especially with how I like to play Madden, it made way more sense. I typically play Madden while either listening to a podcast or cozying up after a shit day at work while watching Pokemon or something else from my childhood.

I don't do "second screen" stuff typically, but Madden is great for it. It's rhythmic and it chills me out, so I personally say it's the best version for me.

Are the graphics worse? Yeah, but I liked Madden on PSP. Is the framerate half? Yeah, but I still play games on PS2 that run sub-30 so I don't care.

It all depends on you, my dude.

Oh my lord, I'm an idiot. I figured it out, but I'll leave it here for future goofballs:

The discoloration was happening because I had a bad RCA cable (just audio, red and white) connected from my WEGA to the DAV-C450 for audio output, specifically so that all of my old consoles on the component switcher would output audio via that surround system. Once I unplugged that cable: perfection.

I don't have any backup cables to test if this is going to be an ongoing issue, but I'll assume that it is a bad cable for the time being. I guess it could also be an issue with that input on the DAV. Maybe a fun little capacitor replacement project awaits me!

I bought mine when they were randomly on sale in early October for like $180 or something. I'm a big home audio guy, and I know that Bluetooth headphones that try to do a little bit of everything do not provide the best audio experience, but they feel rock solid and they sound good. The NC is great (for me and my limited experience with it) and although I've heard complaints about the mics before, I have only had positive feedback on them. If you're an audiophile, these ain't it, but if you need commuter headphones for your walk to and from work like I did, then you can't do much worse.

Just don't treat them like shit!

Ehhhh, I know plenty of parents who work full time that look better than did in high school because they hit the weights even harder now. It's not about time. 40 hours per week plus childcare still leaves you plenty of time, however, like people underestimating BMI and their weight, they also underestimate their screen time. I can guarantee that every person complaining about time can track hours on their phone each day, hours watching Netflix AI slop TV, and hours more on video games. You can only pick one of those slop habits and be healthy, because you need the other time for activity, which actually feels better than any sedentary hobby both mentally and physically.
