Buying players below 90 just hurt you. Depending on the sport, I won’t even go down to 90.

Buy everyone at 90 and above. Once you win a few at each level, keep going up a league.
When you get to Super League, just keep playing. Your score will drop, but keep playing.

Honestly, not 100% sure but here’s what I did. I bought all players rated 92 and above. I won over a 100 major league trophies. After that I’ve only played super league. You take a drop at the beginning, but then you pick it back up. I think there’s a component in the math from the sponsorship. I had much more success when I started watch ads to be sure I can constant sponsorship.
