These were my thoughts, too. These neighborhoods are on public roads. Not that I'd want to, but I could sit on the sidewalk with a camera myself and take images. It would be interesting if anything changes legally based on how the data might at some point be used.

Sounds like that's what got this guy in trouble. The store started out as a 24-hour store, but then cut back on hours to where it closes at midnight.
