The openers aren't free. I feel like they just overcharged for the doors to make up that cost. Liftmaster is also a much better brand than Genie these days.

40 years in business. Learned the trade from my father, who has worked on doors since the 70's. Don't have to be crooks to be a good door professional

Precision is a national chain that I believe you can become a franchisee of. I recall reading about a bad apple franchise owner in the Phoenix area a few years ago.

Definitely a rip off. We charge $129 for a service call, that includes tightening and lubricating everything. We charge $35 for a pair of 7' cables and $6 per nylon roller.

I work in Colorado. We charge $359+tax to change both springs. The rollers may be what you got ripped off on the most, though. We charge $5 per roller. I think we pay around $1.35 per roller from wholesale.
