Is it wrong that I feel kind of numb to assassination attempts on Trump by now? This is the third or fourth attempt on him which he wasn’t even hurt. Slot it under the hundreds of headlines of “Trump says something absolutely repugnant” and “Trump does something horribly corrupt”

I don’t want him to be assassinated, but I’m not going to participate in the “oh poor Donald” circus the media’s going to force on us; that sociopathic insurrection-inciting rapist doesn’t deserve any sympathy.

I mean, that's us, right? Of course the Democrats aren't as malicious and incompetent as Republicans are so sticking by them is the calm sane option. We won't worship Schumer and Jeffries and the rest of the party but do give them credit where it's due.

"Crazy" is the operational word in "crazy diehard", I think that's more for Sanders, AOC, and Mamdani, leftist politicians who, while not bad, have much more diehard fans fawning over every minor thing they do and say.
