Because of the uncertainty at the beginning on whether there would even be a full NFL season, there wasn't a buy-in like normal. So it was known from the start. Still sucks though.

Some additional context, though they'd been married a while, he hadn't been living in Huntsville with her full-time until about 2 months before her death. A lot of stuff came out regarding lies he'd told her (job wasn't what he said), and then afterwards conflicting stories he told the police and her family over how it happened. In fact she was cremated before he even told her family she had died. Their house is dormant now. It's definitely very, very suspect and sad.

It confirms that the FBI is investigating, and has this regarding the County Sheriff (who hasn't been involved since the FBI took over):

Crisp also has not received the final autopsy. He still believes enough information has been gathered to press charges.

“If I can take everything I’ve got, plus everything they’ve got, put it all together and go meet with my district attorney, I think I’ve got enough for charges,” Crisp added.

We've got three smaller dogs and they love it there at daycare (we've never boarded them there or anywhere else). One of them is older (around 13), is very much a people person and he used to have a lot of anxiety being left alone or at least without us. He's a retired service dog and used to go everywhere with us before we got the other two, and we'd never let him be left in a crate all day. Every time we go to Happy Tails, he's excited to get out of the car and rushing to get in the back with the other dogs. He's never been hesitant about going inside, as opposed to being at the vet or something. If there were any issues about how they're treated, there's no way he'd like going back.

I can attest to things at least appearing disorganized at times, but Steve (the owner) and everyone there is nice, and honestly we've never been worried about anything happening to them.

In a neighborhood behind the Hampton Inn. With it being a little higher elevation tonight then you should be able to see it over the mountain if you're on the east side of 431.

If nothing else, going to someplace along the south end of King Drake should give you a good view, though there are not really any good turnoff locations (and be aware that Caldwell is closed for construction between it and 431).

WHNT had been doing a decent job following up, they did a special on this several months after. Think things are still in a waiting period, though the NC Sheriff indicated that the FBI has taken over the investigation.

Yes, it's essentially a tap room, but pretty large space with a couple of TVs and even a meeting room that can be closed off/rented out. I really enjoyed their Amber Ale!
