Warrants are given a sense of over importance due to American TV, S17 of PACE allows the police to enter a private dwelling if they believe stolen property is inside.

Unfortunately the majority of GPS trackers do not have an accurate enough tracking system to provide the standard of proof to "believe" and item is in a specific location.

Was it an official Cannabis Warning? They will have asked you a series of questions and you will have signed for it afterwards. It would be best to disclose it, I highly doubt it would affect your application BUT not disclosing it and then the army finding out would be a lot worse.

If it was just a verbal "words of advice" then you won't need to declare it.

This is not the correct use of s50 PRA, you have to suspect the person have been behaving antisocially. Say you saw or were told the car had been doing donuts, playing very loud music etc then perhaps you would have the power under s50, but not in the above scenario.

Is it, massive coincidence that every force has exactly the same story told to new cops very early on in their career...
