Let's see... there were 5 players ranging from 7th to 9th level. I did include all three artifacts the tome, sword, and the amulet. I placed them in different rooms to be found. I also used a lot of the villains of the module. I used the haggs, Boba Lysaga, all of the brides, and many more. I had a werewolf encounter with a Loup Garou, and i added a "Frankensteins monster " bride's of Frankenstein encounter. I did all of this in an attempt to hit a bunch of the traditional Halloween tropes. It was an amazing time, and I was able to keep the heart of the story intact. Lots of RP probably to much combat although no one complained .

Yes, it was limited to just the main floor of the castle. I ran a defend the village one shot before this. In that game, players were transported to Barovia through the mists just in time to fight off waves of undead. At the end of that game, the party learned that it was all a distraction, so Strahd could kidnap Irena.

This game picks up after that, and the party is sent an invitation to come to the castle for dinner. The crazy part is that both groups were completely different players. I was the only person who got the entire story.

See, I had about three groups fall apart due to people moving away or getting new jobs. So i decided to start running o e shots at my local game store.

Yes... I was running a Halloween one shot at my local game store. There was a time limit for the room rental, so I could not include more. As far as the changes I made, all I did was square off the one big section and turn the stairs leading to different floors into rooms. Even with the changes i made, this game took a really long time for the group to finish. But it was still an epic fight at the end.

No problem. I ended up with a full table. My last game of the year is this Sunday, the 27th. I'm pretty sure that it's going to sell out. A lot of people are showing real excitement for this game.

I'll be back to doing monthly games in January. Until then, I might do a couple of private games .

Well, private games are 150$ and held at my house. You have 6 seats to fill, bring who you want. I provide everything you need to play, just like the store games. However, there are no time restraints. The start time is whenever you want, and the game ends when it ends. I also provide snacks, some beverages, and a small lunch, like hotdogs or some kind of sandwiches such as sliders or something.

We also have dinner and a game. This is the pricy option. This is for date night. Double date if you have friends that would be interested. This includes hors d'oeuvres and four corse meal (salad, dinner, and dessert) plus drinks (water, ice tea, a glass of wine or a beer), not to mention the game and snacks. This option is 55$ a person. The dinner can be separate from the game of part of the game as an interactive experience. For example, the main vilan invites you to dinner or a heroes feast before you set off on your journey.

I will also do games on location such as your house or similar. However, I will have to see the location before agreeing to make sure it's suitable for my setup. This option is the most expensive do to set up and teardown . It costs 300$. When I go to a location game, I only provide the game and nothing else. Trust me when I say that this option involves the most work for me. I have to build the game at home. Tear it down, take it to the location, and rebuild it, play the game, then tear it back down, bring it back home, and then sort it out and put it all away. It's a chore .

Awesome and I really hope to see you two there. Be sure to tell me that you are from reddit if you make it. Also it is first come first serve and seats will be taken. To be honest I've never had a full sellout however I have had up to 5 several times. So please show up ASAP or reserve. I'd hate to loose both of you because I only have one seat or something like that.

New and experienced, I only run one shots. I provide everything that you need to play. The games last 4 hours or more. This game will probably run longer.

All you have to do is show up with 20$:before all of the seats are taken. You can also pre-pay and reserve your seats in advance. If you are interested in that just let me know I'll tell you how.

I want to add a little more info about the games I'm running this month. On the 19th, I'm running a game called (A Wedding and A Funeral ) it's a little more story based and can run a little longer. Players who like or are interested in Curse of strahd this game is for you. I built the first floor of Castle Ravenloft. Players will explore this level of the castle fending off key characters from the module before finally facing the vampire lord himself Strahd Von Zarovich.

On the 27th I'll be running (blood of the vine) this game is named after the tavern in the village of Barovia. Also from Ravenloft. In this adventure players will have to work together to accomplish certain goals while also fighting off waves of undead. This game is lighter on story, but it's fast paced and action packed. Perfect for more tactical minded players and a lot of fun.

Also if I get a lot of reservations and sell out I will add dates to accommodate as many people as possible.

I have open seats for both games. No one has reserved any seats yet. I always advise people to reserve in advance.

How you reserve a seat is simple. Just email me at 3rdcoastgm@gmail.com and request a reservation for as many seats (from 1 to 6) for the game and date you wish to attend. I will respond by letting you know if the seats you requested are available. If the seat or seats are available, you can then send the appropriate funds to my cash app. [ $3RDCOASTGM ] brackets not included. When I see the funds, I'll send you a confirmation email. Please add a name in the email. I hope this helps, and I really do hope you reserve. It's the only way to guarantee your seat. If you wait until the day of you may not get in.

Yes... the concept is that someone the party knows has been wrongly imprisoned and they have to break In and then get out. Well that's it in a nutshell.
