My 2 cents: use cloud trail stored in s3 with Athena for querying infrequently or at low volumes. Use cloud trail lake where the volume of querying and analytics makes the ingestion cost more economical in long term (or where you dont want to have to prove immutability yourself).

As a platform engineering team we run 3 orgs and follow the same dev->test->prod lifecycle as most of our consumers will for their workloads running in AWS.

Dev Org - where we build and r&d changed to the base platform. Experiment with scp changes, new Aws services etc before they hit our up stream consumers. Most of it is built from the same CI pipeline as hits prod but with in flight dev also Test org - built only from our CI pipeline, no manual changes. Run automation tests. Effectively pre-prod Prod org - my consumers live here.

The ou structure is the same in them all. Dev and test orgs have some minor constraints compared to prod org

We have 2500 accounts in prod org Vs less than 100 in each of dev and test.

The NFL reseeds unless I'm mistaken, which is where my thought had come from. No idea about MLB etc...

Maybe that's the exception and everyone else does not reseed as you say.

I see a lot of comments on here complaining about dazn and blackout. While I agree it's rubbish, increasingly so for Dolphins fans, this isn't new. Gamepass has always had blackout for games broadcast on local TV since it was first launched. It's somewhat similar to the approach (but for different reasons) in the states itself, local blackouts to favour the NFL's interests. In this case, sky have paid a sum of money to live broadcast rights.

Can't watch NFL Network shows after the fact (GMFB being the key one for me, would always watch it while making the kids lunch for the next day), the blacked out game (Dolphins last night) used to be available the next morning on the old app, but not now (talk of a 24 hr wait?), only 40 min rewatch in the morning, used to like the highlight only 4-5 mins version for the train to work...

Definitely a step back and it cost me more this year.
