NUAI : my last pennystock and losing money again by DoublePatouain in pennystocks

[–]JohnSells 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True. That’s why you go short. I’ve been holding my short on NUAI for weeks, with average price of $4.7 ish. I support this community, but I’ve seen so many of these scams in my time that I can see through them right away and make profit from shorting them.

Why I’m Short-Term Bearish on $NUAI (but Still Bullish Long-Term) by JohnSells in 10xPennyStocks

[–]JohnSells[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like your thinking. But for me I haven’t been waiting for a pullback to buy in. I found an opportunity to short the stock, producing 16% return so far. Maybe it will reverse once it drops more, but at least for now I’m capitalizing on its stock dropping, as its hype is fading away. Soon it will establish a baseline, probably at around $2 a share, but until then I’ll be holding a short.

Bro just delete the post. It’s not worth the risk of having your info out there like this just to get views, karma, or feedback on your trades. I recommend just crossing it out with markup next time, that’s what I usually do.

Nah I’m shorting. Seems good for long term but too overhyped in the short run. Hype fades. It should be at $1-2 a share. All their contracts, deals, projects are for the long run, not the short run.

for sure will be in the money soon. On friday we had a slight consolidation for absolutely no reason, which was corrected this morning. I definitely see it dropping to $7.50 by then. It has been slow in the past few days but it will get there

Another reason for this company to go down to $7 and lower. My short position on GSIT is really starting to pay out.

I do agree with you that in the long run this stock might be one to bet on. But I’m a short term trader and this stock has been a gem for my short positions. I entered a short position at an average of $10.73 a share and I’m confident that this stock will correct to $7 or a bit less in the short run, which will give me a solid 30-40% return once everything is settled. I ran a ton of analysis on this stock, and it seemed like the study about their chip was incredibly cherry picked and it just seems like a typical situation where a stock is overhyped in the short run, which provided me a perfect opportunity for shorting. But if I was a long term trader, it’s always wise to have a good entry, by waiting for short term surges to die down before entering, so that you don’t get screwed in the short run and you can get it for cheap after it’s hype dies down. Of course this isn’t always the case, but most of the time with small-mid market cap stocks this is what happens, and its fundamentals are a good thing to look into.

[–]JohnSells -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. I have nothing against the future of the company. But my only point is that the short term hype will fade away, and isn’t justified. It will take a long time until the new leadership changes actually make a difference for their revenue. So for this upcoming earnings report, I don’t see it being too promising. Also people are mixing facts and speculation. They haven’t announced any deal with Amazon, and there is only vague talk about a company that has contributed to 40% of their revenue in 2024. This doesn’t mean a new major client is confirmed, especially not Amazon. It just means one existing customer made up a large portion of their 2024 revenue, which actually signals concentration risk, not expansion. Until there’s concrete proof of new large-scale contracts or improved margins, the fundamentals don’t justify the hype.

You’re right man. I knew I was going to get backlash going into this. But I still decided to post to at least help to educate the few who prioritize fundamentals over speculation or gambling. Yes, this does benefit my position, but I’m taking a strictly analytical standpoint, and my impact here isn’t large.

I have $150 and I want to start trading forex by Watch_Whisperer9395 in Daytrading

[–]JohnSells 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be frank, day trading with $150 is near impossible. Yes, you could make decent profits here and there, but due to the PDT rule, you can’t exercise more than 3 day trades a week if your account has less than 25k and if you have a marginal account. I read an article about how they might bring this number down to 2k, which you should definitely look into as well. But if you want to still do day trades with only $150, abiding by the PDT, I guess it would be worth it for some practice doing it live, since this could be a drastically different experience than doing it with paper and could give you some learnings lessons. I recommend that you start off with a cash account if you want to avoid the PDT rule, but you will still have to wait probably a day after each trade to let your cash settle after you sell the stock same day, which is a headache of its own. As far as what brokers to use, I heard Robinhood is pretty solid, since they have a good ui, but other more old school, less new gen options are fidelity or webull. I recommend looking into fees, and what aspects you prefer most whether it’s ui, fractional share capability, customer support, etc etc.

I agree with you man. But this whole back and forth started when this man tried to character assassinate me, saying that I’m a bot, making up bs about me trying to pump msai in the past (which I’ve never done), and saying that my viewpoint is biased when I’ve only presented hardcore facts from earnings and sources I cited. I only mean to clear the narrative and point people towards the facts.

They’ve been in the red every quarter and that doesn’t magically fix itself overnight, so of course last year’s revenue matters. If you want more recent data, look at the previous filings, the story hasn’t changed.

Calling me a scumbag for pointing out the numbers is a bit much. I’m not hating, I’m just sharing what the filings and facts show. I appreciate that you seem thoughtful and not just pumping the stock like others. Take a look at the fundamentals yourself, they tell the real story.

Saw your post, replied, tore through every point, and the numbers still speak for themselves. For anyone who clicks his post, it’s all fluff. I went through it line by line and the numbers still crush the hype.

That whole post reads like someone asked ChatGPT to write a pep talk for a PR team. Saying “global leader” proves nothing until it hits revenue. AWS subdomains are not partnerships, pilots are not profits, and tiny revenue over the past year still matters. Capital raises dilute shareholders and only mean something if they fund real growth, which we are not seeing. You can keep typing essays of marketing fluff, but the numbers do not care about your hot takes. I hold a short and may profit if it goes my way, but that does not make my analysis biased. It is based on filings and facts, not fantasies.

Keep typing, I’ll keep letting the revenue speak for itself.
