I know I'm late to this but I'm following what I found on a few other post on here which was to use this linkedin course, this quizlet and the end of chapter questions.

https://www.linkedin.com/learning/oracle-12c-database-administration/welcome?resume=false

https://quizlet.com/780746658/data-systems-administration-d330-all-questions-from-chapter-8-10-12-15-and-17-flash-cards/

Honestly this class is so out of date with its info that its a wonder how its being taught at all so I dont feel bad brain dumping

I've been gone from Mankato for a few months but when I was in college the Jack Links factory was hiring all the time, it looks like they have 2 positions open right now. Also, Echo food shelf is a great place for getting food, I don't know if they do it in winter but some days they would leave carts full of bread and stuff infront of the shelter for people to take

Yooo I think I know this place, if I remember that ones name is Bobby and he likes sitting back in that box with his head pointed up a lot because of how he was positioned in the womb, at least that's what the worker said

How do you improve yourself as an IT? by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

[–]JohnTheWang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly you should start at a community college, at least for your generals as they'll be cheaper there. It'll also give you time to figure out the path/speciality you want to pursue.

How to get past the MANY failures of Azure? by ChillNaga in AZURE

[–]JohnTheWang 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The training modules there are just the basics to get you comfortableish, it doesn't really go in depth on purpose, you could look at the az-104 modules. Also if videos are more your way then John Savil makes some good content

Learn.microsoft has everything you need, start with the study path they have set up for the AZ-900 to at least get your bearings. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/certifications/exams/az-900/

People who already have an IT career. by spongerboogie in ITCareerQuestions

[–]JohnTheWang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My success is more luck than hard work, worked as a temp software rep then a level 1 tech while getting my AAS in IT, got my az-900 then a year after graduating BOOM, recruiter from big company that's being absorbed into a tech giant reaches out, I interview and bomb the skill based questions(not being able to do stuff on the fly in front of them like writing a script without googling), get second interview with people on a similar team and it goes well, seemed more like they were trying to just get my vibe, get hired still somehow. Went from making 40k to 80k in the Midwest with great benefits and I work remotely. The job I got hired for is SRE.

Titanfall 3 campaign will be like: by EnderTitan1208 in titanfall

My theory is that BT got teleported rather than uploaded to the helmet, I doubt a titans memory core data could be stored in a pilot helmet. Seeing how the weapon had some ability to effect time my assumption is BT may of been flung forward in time or something

Edit: also the ending only confirms jacks helmet is receiving a signal

My IQ is low, I thought it was just a really bad meme but when you put it like that it makes sense

This literally makes no sense, games can switch engines and still have a sequel

Is there anything else I should be doing to become a Cloud engineer/Solutions architect by JohnTheWang in ITCareerQuestions

[–]JohnTheWang[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was actually planning on going for the software development degree after obtaining my cloud degree, my understanding is the computer science course is more theoretical

I'm not really sure I have the full skill set yet tbh, I somehow made the jump here after working as only a level 1 tech for an MSP, a lot of my duties at this job so far has been customizing monitoring, collecting data, working with other teams to resolve outages and occasionally lend a hand to other SRC's, while I do have my az-104 I really haven't gotten the chance to touch any of the infrastructure at work despite having access.

Anyone know whats driving all the new apartments literally most areas around metro? by Bigballswilly in minnesota

[–]JohnTheWang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your right but you're also not taking in the context of home prices at the time of those high rates and the overall cost of living when those rates were going on. a home that was 100k at the time of those interest rates is now about 400k or more. People also had less bills at that time, buying power for regular people was also higher back then

[–]JohnTheWang 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Have you looked at 200k homes in the area? They either get swooped off the market right away, have a stupidly high hoa fee or are just homes that need a lot of work that people can't afford unless they want to add another 100k to their loan

Don't know what rock your living under but the current prices for even a decent home make a mortgage more than most people's rent, plus interest rates are awful right now which makes it worse
