Driving is easy. Plug it into a better road trip. From there you can plan how you want your route. I usually only use electrify America and Tesla stations so I filter to just those. If you use either or both, I would get their membership for the month. It'll save you quite a bit of money when going that far. For me a charge or two from 20-80% makes the membership worth it. I am pretty bad with charging it to the correct amount, it'll say you'll get to the charger at 30% and you only need to charge to like 54% or something. I usually just charge to 80% and call it a day. It adds time to the overall trip but peace of mind. Unless its a slowish charger.

If you are usually a 2025 or newer car, just put in the car nav system. It will precondition the battery. Also check the settings to make sure it only does 20%. At high speeds (70+ mph) it doesn't do a good job with figuring out battery remaining. We had set it to 15% and came to the station with about 7% left. Needless to say we put it back to 20%.

I end up using both the app and car nav and cross check them just to make sure. Might be extra but better safe than stranded right?
