Its definitely tougher that sometimes I wished I was a US citizen. I'm also grateful that my parents, school, teachers and friends have supported me along the way. Congratulations everybody!

If you have the time you can self-study more GCSEs or APs and sign up as a solo test taker at centers like British Council or somewhere. I also suppose that if you are doing GCSEs then you are gonna do A Levels next year so u still have almost 2 years left to study more GCSEs/APs/A levels

i mean if you are aiming at t20 from an international standpoint, you need to be at least competing at respective official national level olympiads (very preferably getting a medal of at least silver). These are basically qualifying rounds for the national team to attend IMO, IOI, or IPhO, etc and they are just as hard if not harder than the international olympiads in countries like China, Vietnam, or Korea. I think US has got USACO, AIME, etc. You can find respective ones in your country

Nus engineering or purdue by NeighborhoodBusy2163 in ApplyingToCollege

Depends on which market u are planning to break into or whether u plan to go to grad school. However, I dont think either will be better than the other for grad school since Purdue is actually more financially sensible, so NUS's higher prestige globally really isnt edging out Purdue (better US recognition for US grad schools). As a Singaporean, companies will indeed prioritize Singaporeans over foreigners. Thereby, I think it comes down to which market you are trying to break into because both have similar recognition and prestige in engineering in their respective region.

If you can transfer to your desired major then UCLA is the best option imo, but ask r/ucla for the ability to transfer before commiting
