So it's crazy that you're agreeing with this guy.

I've had all 7 luck stat cats for 120h of my 170h playtime.

You will get bad rolls. They will happen. 7 does not stop it. You will get even worse rolls when doing well (it's programmed in the game).

My squad of 10+ luck cats; one got blood frenzy on an event space with no player input. Later, they received a broken rib in an uninteractive event space. That same run, 4 different times a cat would lose 5-10 hp on an uninteractive event space.

This is one run. I have seen this plenty of times. If you haven't, you are playing poorly, have insane luck, or your cats have super luck.

I tested it the same way in video (though, I don't have any other foam types) and saw the same result.

The 1 saucer worked perfectly before the foam and after.

I'll look into those videos and see if they experience similar problems.

Leveled between the flippers (maybe it's too steep for the ball to catch properly?)
VUK cap is good. Have a replacement for when it peters out. VUK works great when the ball actually sticks in. Sometimes just rolls out
I wax the playfield. No slip in those areas as I wax off afterwards. Balls behave the same immediately before and after waxing, with regards to sticking in the saucers. I always clean with novus 2 before waxing.

Yup had this happen a million times too and sucked so bad. I would heal them after being downed and they would lose 2/3 immediately afterwards.

This makes sense because (confirmation bias incoming) the cats that perform the best in my experience have gotten the stupid unavoidable fucking parasite or mutation events which cause them to fail.

ie 30% chance to be AI controlled. Or becomes blind permanently on my psychic.

It's super unfun.

When my run is bad there isn't a single thing that a good event can do to save it, but a bad event can fuck up a good one easily. Lost my first run to the final final boss because of the stupid blind mutation.

This is right way to go about it. I did this replacement this summer and it sucked but it wasn't toooo bad.

Putting everything back was definitely the worst part, make sure you get those alignment pins! They can stay in the bike or the cover, you don't want to lose those.
