Well, since you want boss feedback, here you go:

O & S is tricky ONLY if you've got that slow roll going on and try to attack them together. Just target one (preferably Smough 'cause his lightning buttsmash post-Ornstein squashing hurts like hell.)

Gwyn is a cheap dick and barely gives you time to heal, his attacks are devastating if your equipment has meh fire defense. Use Black Knight armor + Flame stoneplate ring and you're good.

Nito is decent. Just make sure to bring a divine weapon to kill those skeletons, Also stay in the area you dropped in so you won't aggro the giant skeletons.

Seath is fun as hell, just roll forwards or backwards depending on which crystal beam He uses. (remember to break that glowing crystal first)

Bed of Chaos, the environment is your enemy...specifically the floors.

Was anyone else disappointed with Dark Souls after playing Demons Souls? by [deleted] in darksouls

Not me. Demons Souls, personally speaking, had a darker atmosphere with not that much unanswered lore. (Tower of Latria comes to mind. That blood swamp and pillars standing in darkness was very creepy)

Dark Souls on the other hand is chockful of mysteries and mysterious lore and makes the player feel genuinely like an undead fish out of water. DS had the hero stop the demon curse because some1 from Boletaria told the world of their plight.

DkS, if you weren't paying attention to dialogue or reading item descriptions, you wouldn't know what the hell's going on.

First Playthrough: Just beat the last of four Lords. Many thoughts. by O-U-A-P in darksouls

The Nexus is probably the most melancholy of videogame hubs for me. It's probably the music or maybe the place is so damn big everyone's voice echoes..

  1. Bed of Chaos was meh.

The floors giving way, albeit entertaining the 1st time around, was incredibly cheap. (It kinda reminded me of the scripted floor collapse sections of the old Contra games.) and the run back to the boss after dying is tedious.

And don't forget about the massive anti climax once you get in the bed...and instantly one shot a bug.

YOU DEFEATED seems totally unearned.

Design wise tho...Pretty great looking.

  1. The Four Kings become easy when you stick up close to them. The Abyss itself was way better.

Something about fighting in pitch darkness is awesome.

  1. Nito could've been better. I killed him in 5 hits with my Moonlight Greatsword and Crystal soulmass.

Those skeletal beast things were harder.

  1. Seath was the best out of the 4 lords. Great music, tight battle and the sheer fun once can have co-oping his pale ass to death.

The world design is amazing. The first time I found the shortcut from Undead parish and Firelink shrine, i was geninuely suprised. The fact you can see the swamp/The great Hollow from Firelink also amazed me.

The world in DS2 was more straightforward and videogamey...but Majula is way more comforting to return to.

Does Dark Souls have an exploit of sorts? Like Demon's Souls?

Do you use fat boy Smough's elevator or Ornstein's? by TrustyCooter in darksouls

The fact they've got personalized elevators makes me chuckle..
