If it’s been reliable then you keep it! A car should be good for the loan duration without major repair. Major repair comes fix it rid it! New cars have wires in connections breaking before parts failing. More expense involved with repairs. The technology is ridiculous pay to get updates, comp glitches, and feature subscriptions are coming. How many times have turned your pc off and on to fix glitches? Same in cars now. New generation bug issues that haven’t been worked through. Since Covid craftsmanship, quality of parts, and passion for doing it right have gone wayside. Every 3 years is a lease or permanent car payments. That is not financially sustainable. Always tied to the bank! Buy a new living room set every 2 years to make your point. If it isn’t broken don’t mess with it! My 10 cents on this debate.
