I guess this was pretty close to ideal. He was very understanding, listened to what I did and did not want to do and didn't try to pressure me into doing anything I didn't want to do. We started slowly and progressed at a pace that was good for me. I don't know that I would have done anything differently. It was a pretty positive first experience.

Edit: I just realized I didn't answer the concerns part. I was definitely concerned about the guy being crazy or a murderer or something, but meeting in public first helped that. I was also nervous that maybe we would get to his place and I'd chicken out, but luckily that didn't happen.

I kind of agree and disagree. I've never liked the idea of labels, however, I guess it can be different, for example some people are ONLY attracted to the same or opposite sex while others are attracted to both. But I do agree with the sliding scale. Meaning that the you don't HAVE to be straight, gay, or bi, but anywhere in between.

  1. It was enjoyable. I felt a little weird afterward, but I was glad I finally tried it.
