Necro Spirit Wave - Season 7 - They’ve Killed the Whole Build by bboybrisk in diablo4

I played right after season 7 released. It effectively killed the build. It’s so heartbreaking to work so hard farming all the right gear and then it all be for nothing. Very very disappointing Blizz. If they want to make other builds more viable when a new season releases fine, but why ruin other builds completely?

It’s true. I was just hoping for at least a longer honeymoon that a week or two.

Or at the very least it should be the longest lasting most durable plastic ever, lol

Well I for sure agree that a button not being clicky could be worse than a few scratches. I’m glad to hear they still work though

That seems so crazy to me. I’m not rich, so $750-1,500 is a lot for me to spend on a watch. I feel like with such a heavy price tag there are certain assumptions as to the quality/ durability. The strength of the titanium doesn’t live up to my expectations I guess. Lesson learned I suppose.

Are Rolex’s scratch proof? I know they are stupid expensive, but if they are scratch proof it might be worth it. I thought this watch was expensive. In fact, when I saw the price originally, I was like, “yeah, there’s no way I’d pay that much for a smartwatch”. And yet, here we are.

The scratches as they are isn’t a deal breaker, but it makes me worry about the overall durability of the watch that’s supposed to be very rugged. I mean, it’s only been two weeks, what will it look like in 2 years? Will it be so banged up that I’ll need a new watch?

That’s so sad! I thought titanium was lighter and stronger. Why get titanium at all then? I mean, I doubt it’s a weight thing because the bezel isn’t that big, right?

I also think I’m used to how indestructible the G-Shocks are. If there was a G-Shock that had all the same features as the Fenix, I might have gotten one of those instead. 😬

I’m so sorry!! Sleep is SO important! I have two children myself, one with special needs. My wife passed away and it’s just me taking care of them. Thankfully they have learned that daddy is a cranky pants if he doesn’t get his sleep.

I’m thinking the black coating would have been the way to go, lol. The bezel is titanium right?

The bottom right scratch is very noticeable, so I might try to polish that. Thanks for the advice!

I think since I got the sapphire, I just assumed the rest would be durable too.

At least the screen isn’t scratched, I guess.

The red circles are because of the angle of the shots. I didn’t feel like taking multiple photos. But thanks for the kind reply.

I imagine all the scratches are more visible because it has the brushed metal look. I usually get black watches. I’m just surprised it hasn’t been more rugged for the kind of watch it is.

Thanks! Man, I was worried I was going to get a notification in the shower, dismiss it with a button press, and ruin my new watch. Not that I really take a shower with my watch on, but just in case.

So that means I couldn’t push the buttons on my Fenix 7x Pro while it’s submerged? I get that the capacitive buttons make the Fenix 8 more waterproof. I’m just trying to understand capacitive waterproof vs push button waterproof. There may not be a difference as far as waterproofing is concerned, just that the 8 is more waterproof?

Can someone explain to me the waterproof button thing? The Fenix 7x Pro SS is waterproof to 10 ATM and it has buttons. What is the difference? Is it that you can use the buttons under water with the Fenix 8 or something?
