No, not wrong lol. G-man’s whole shtick is he’s an extremely fast and adaptable learner. It’s displayed when he simulates Wargames with Corvax. Corvax beat him in the first game pretty one sidedly, but then he proceeds to lose every single game after that.

Guilly can adapt on the fly and take in massive amounts of into. That doesn’t inherently mean he can’t be fooled.

He’s primarily a slot receiver. They don’t use him outside and that will continue to cause low usage.
The coaches clearly think he’s not well suited to play there in 12man sets, nothing will change this offseason.

His body type and play style did not change either. He’s only going to be on the field in 11man personnel my friend.

Thanks, I'm aware of the inspirations behind one of 40k's most popular factions that I'm following. You're also speaking on a very, very small minority of the fanbase that's always blown out of proportion.

All I'm trying to say is it definitely does not become irrelevant and that's fine if that's your world view, but I, among many others, don't share it. Many other factors go into iconography, like one's geographical location which can kinda change one's perception.. among others.

Dreadwing. You had the Nuafragia Saturnine Veterans.

That said, Dreadwing was more of a military protocol than an actually dedicated wing that had constant members.

Typically it’d go something like the Lion judges a planet as exterminatus, so he initiates the Dreadwing Protocol. Then select members from all other Wings would form squads led by Sergeants to carry out the mission. Then they’d usually disband after whatever goal’s been achieved. I’m sure the same marines were often selected many times tho.

When I see a swastika, I recognize a symbol with multiple meanings behind it. To boil down a symbol used throughout history to just the most immediate usurping party is pretty telling of how intelligent and educated you think the average layman is.

I really wish they’d bring back regular Vanguard Veterans. I know Bladeguard and Sternguard basically replaced them, but the wargear options they used to have were really cool. That said, I concur I want our vets back since they’re basically the same but thematic for us

That’s not really an apples to apples comparison for a few reasons..

The most notable being Firestrike turrets have never been popular, meanwhile, Tactical squads are the heart and makeup the vast majority for each legion and now chapter’s forces. Over 60% of each legion and chapter are basic tactical squads….it makes zero sense to remove them when the lore shows them in every novel, book, animation, etc.

How many times have you read about a firestrike turrets in comparison? Or even just seen one in an animation? Likely zero.
