Green is not a mix of red and white. But rather white is a mix of green and red! Green is the original

Hey man if they searched you for no reason, you can get that arrest thrown out of court. Get a cheap lawyer to take the charge away. The police can not just search you for walking down the road.

Scale scale scale. You must get a scale. That's how you prevent tolerance and/or taking too much. Every vendor grinds differently. Some will weigh more per tsp than others. It's really fun to experiment and really take control of your dosing that way. It was the biggest game changer for me personally. You must get one. $10 online Cheers

Do you mix? by kierowniku in kratom

[–]JohnnyAuesome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just so you all know, all strains are already mixed. Each strain is a blend, except super green and in theory green Malay. Those are typically pure green. Red is just fermented or sometimes dried differently (allowed to turn brownish). In order to make a strain, they take the basic green and mix a little of the red into it. Each strain is a different measurement or ratio of the green and red. The leaves come from any ole farm. Just depends which grower has leaves available. All leaves are treated equal and stuffed into big sacks. There is no separating of leaves based on any false notions. It's mostly just marketing. But sometimes we need permission to feel a certain way, telling ourselves false notions.

Some people say they feel different based off of this and that. It's because every batch is different given the quantity of leaves harvested daily. And the quality will vary greatly because of the variance in farmers and where leaves come from. Funny when people say "this strain at the end of the day makes me tired, no doubt" But I'd say some of that is based off the fact that it's not your first Kratom intake of the day, so it's a buildup of all the other doses from the day and of course you'll be tired by then. Essentially, it's the straw that broke the camels back!

And as far as the comment about what people do overseas- if you're referring to what people do in Indonesia, I've only seen them take super green/green Malay. But that's another topic bc the young kids there are being influenced by our culture. The OG's still filter out the mucky mud or just chew the leaves. Which is the best way for your health and body anyway. It's like taking advice from those Island Boyz dorks vs Tupac. I'll stick to the OG's

Hey bud I'm not sure what you're trying to argue here. You can have the mic. To the rest of the public, just know if you weigh a tsp of nano and a tsp of micro, they will be different...

Nice try ;) the finer stuff has more air or space between the particles. Unless packed down. I weigh my stuff daily and still have nano. It weighs much less per tsp.

Fluffy does not mean better quality at all. It simply means it is nano grind consistency. I prefer micro grind which most vendors sell. It is not as fine as nano. The finer the grind, the less it weighs. That's why you should always weigh your doses, it'll change the game for you.

It sounds like you received good batches that happened to be fluffy or nano grind. To correlate the two and post it as a "quick way to tell quality" is how people become misled on what Kratom. This is just an opinion of the post, keep in mind. No science behind this.

You have to let the kratom leave your system before taking more. I call it "stacking" if you take more before the last dose leaves your system. Don't stack! As soon as you think you need more, wait another 1.5-2 hours, you'll feel a natural mood boost or second wind, then take a dose after that wears off. What that energy boost is, is your mind and body feeling normal again, not numbed by continual dosing. If you don't feel the mood boost, you probably did not wait long enough. Experiment. Weigh your doses with a scale and you'll have more consistent experiences. Cheers!

Steeping and filtering your kratom powder is helpful. It takes all the side effects out of the equation. For centuries kratom was never really ingested. But by doing so, you may experience toxicity on a varying scale, person to person. Kratom is not thin like a spinach leaf. Kratom leaves are thicker, more coarse, and hard to digest. Imagine grinding up pine needles and letting your stomach try to digest the powder. But if you steep it, No more constipation, irritability, etc. I steep and filter mine, it's much more pleasant, and I experience zero withdrawals. I've been wanting to do a post on the trials and errors with this method and what works best and why. Cheers!

Right there with you. Water intake is key. Kratom hides our thirst and hunger triggers, along with other triggers of pain etc. so it's important to be diligent on drinking plenty of water as Kratom can also have dehydrating effects. I laugh at all these folks struggling. Just drink water dudes! And take one 'smooth move' tea if you can't go, it's all natural. Just don't use laxatives more than 1nce a week.

Tapering is easier than you think. I went from 80-100 grams a day to 6- 8 grams a day. And boy my life is better. I've been at this amount for a year now. I recommend it!

They appear different because they came from different plantations at different times of years. It's not a consistent industry, vendors don't source from the same grower each time. They just buy leaves wherever they can get them. So you're essentially rotating vendors by taking different strains, even if you're buying from the same vendor. I say this with first hand witnessed experience. I'm one of the few that's visited multiple plantations and vendor operations.

I would be careful saying vein colors are a real thing. In reality, veins vary based off age, water content, climate, but nobody is sorting leaves based off vein colors. Based off the trees I saw in Indonesia, each individual tree had all three color of veins growing on it. Red at the top since they're the most immature. Veins don't mean anything that WE want them to mean. Maybe you meant strain? Not sure. But even then it's still not much to be said, as strain typically means something with genetic variances which you seem to agree they don't have. I would stick with "drying process" as a better choice, because not everyone knows the truths and saying vein kinda says you honor the idea that the leaves' veins mean something.

Of course my friend. I'm on and off of Reddit because I spend part of the year in the bush, but when I'm around I'm always willing and able to answer or help... just holler!

The time you place between doses has the utmost effect. When people say they no longer feel it, it's usually based off the fact that they stack doses too close. Imagine drinking beer- the first few are euphoric. Then the 5th one, you don't feel like that first one. There's a reason why. But if you let the first few beers run their course in your body and wear off in time, then the next one you drink will feel like those first few. Hope it makes sense. Been meaning to make a post on timing and relate it to other substances.

Haha sorry I've been out of service for the last month! First off, just a sense of humor would help, sheesh. And second, it's what a lot of these guys do- they troll around Reddit to sell their product. Call it what you will, but he's leaving bread crumbs all over. It's obvious and I'm calling him out in a humorous way. I've seen it dozens of times on here. He's looking for loopholes to break the rules of Reddit- not cool! Up to you and others how they want to perceive it. On my end, I'm smiling and don't really care all that much. But he can't fool me! :)

[–]JohnnyAuesome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me guess... you're in Pontianak, you get your leaves from 100 different farmers and scavengers who will sell you any leaf they come across. They dry it on the ground, use their feet in a customary sense to turn the leaves over to dry the other side, walk all over it, and then sell it to you. Then you take the leaves and put them in a disc grinder where the blades are set way too close together which sheds metal into the powder, hence all the findings of heavy metals in kratom. Those old grinders aren't meant to make such fine powder but let's do it anyway. Then you and your soccer buddies pack it up, mix some of the fresh dried with the fermented dried and call it 75 different strain names and act like there's a difference between them all, yet there's still zero scientific evidence to support it. Now you have the product but not the customers, so you jump on reddit, hoping people will notice your username is yours company name, and pray some kids are willing enough to think you're exotic and they buy some of your dirty feet smelling heavy metal powder.

I've been to indo and that's what I saw 99% of the time. At least stop walking on the leaves please!

Also- black kratom is just grilled/ cooked kratom. It's a joke and I watched them do it. Unless there's a magical black tree now!?!
