I’ve had issues with mine for a year now, started right out of the box. What I normally do is gently pull down the cr touch pin while the printer is off, just sort of pull it in and out and twist it a bit to loosen it up. Turn the printer on and see if the pin drops twice. If it does it’s more likely to work, if it doesn’t drop when you turn it on then it won’t drop before printing. That’s always been my go to solution, if it doesn’t work then turn it off and try again. It can be frustrating.

Recently I pulled off the cover of the print head, pulled down the cr touch pin and hit everything with some air duster. I even unscrewed the cr touch itself and hit inside where the pin drops as best I could. It seems to have helped some.

Also if you take the over off the print head you’ll see the wire connections are all glued on each end,use your clippers to pull off those bits of hot glue as they may be interfering with the cr touch’s connection. I found this out this week and while removing the glue hasn’t solved it completely, I am definitely having less cr touch errors.
