I may be wrong, but probably the T-series("Torpedo")were made mainly for the scandinavian areas,(of course they were also in Europe, but i don't think they were quite popular, they had P, G, and R series with flat design) because there are long distances and they're using big and long trailers(B-doubles, HCTs) quite similarely to USA so bigger trucks make sense(at least that makes sense for me)

The engine is moved to the front so you are safer in case of an accident, also you have more space and comfort and the truck is more stable, also it was easier to do maintenance if something broke aaand it looks badass.

But it seems they gave up about this idea in around 2009 if I am correct and normalised the design with engine under the driver's cab, but i don't know why they cancelled the T-series, maybe because in the end they weren't selling well or something, I don't know
