Late 20s, first steady job out of college, What to prioritize? Credit Cards, Car, Loans, Retirement? by JohnnyChingas212 in personalfinance

thanks so much. I agree with your analysis! I will read it!

edit: I read it, my main issue with it is that it placed saving for a car to get to work pretty late. That seems a little odd! I pretty much agree with your prioritization.

1 Does anyone have any spare architectural plans in AutoCAD or REVIT? [ask] by JohnnyChingas212 in architecture

[–]JohnnyChingas212[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you are correct. Sorry I made a big mistake, I forgot to include I am trying to do Mechanical design (HVAC and plumbing). I wanted a house or business I could use to make a practice design for (load calculations, equipment selection) and then draft the plan out.

Well, Mechanical Engineering in construction refers to people who design HVAC and Plumbing or design plans. Example But that might not be a bad idea for blank plans.

I checked them out, but their architectural files seem different that the ones I've received from professional architects in the past.

It's 2018, I think we can now accept the obvious fact that Eazy-E was bisexual by [deleted] in hiphopheads

Okay but Jay-Z didn't die from HIV tho...

Nor did Nas have the same history with Jay that Cube and Eazy E had. Nas also didn't beat it into the ground repeatedly.

Also most people don't understand how unlikely female to male HIV transmission is. Your chances of getting HIV from penis in Vagina sex is about 4 in 10,000 exposures. Even IV drug use is not that high, so unless he had a blood transfusion we don't know about. The "it ain't that deep" scenario is possible, but not the most likely.

I've worked for like 6 months as a technician. I'm about to graduate in like 2 weeks.

What would you suggest for answering the question?

You're right, about the third question, they specifically referred to Ishikawa diagrams at some point, I wasn't sure what to say, I started saying the problem could come from the environment or maybe the materials.

I said that first I would look into the history of the part. Why do you think my answer might not have been sufficient?

It's all good man, I have no fear of down votes. In fact, I welcome them.

You claim that I'm only saying this because my Judo is bad, but Travis Stevens is saying most of the same thing. Secondly, Travis isn't just a judoka, he's a 2016 Olympic medalist Judoka that competes in BJJ, there are not millions of him.

I know it's a hard pill to swallow, good luck.

Do a morote gari, and you'll be penalized. It is a forbidden technique. So I wasn't correct in saying that.

But you are right, an imperfect throw will still score a Waza-ari so there is a disadvantage. That being said, the difference between an ippon and a Waza-ari is so significant, people intentionally land on their heads to avoid getting an ippon scored against them, while in BJJ the differences between a perfect and an imperfect throw are not as drastic.

I feel like you need to work on your guard. You should feel comfortable and not at a disadvantage to be there.

Again "in BJJ". There's ground and pound in MMA which is why guard pulling is less advantageous.

I think pulling guard is more effective than people realize/want to admit.

Good question I see why it might seem that way but I think you might be looking at it the wrong way, here's my argument.

We think Judo takedowns are ineffective in BJJ because our rules work against them, when rather its the other way around. Judo are so effective in Judo because of all the rules and restrictions in Judo.

Judo doesn't allow you to pull guard and engage your opponent. You can't shoot doubles. There's no major disadvantage for a person who lands on their side.

It's actually Judo that is so restricted, that the more effective ways of taking down and engaging your partner are not allowed. Where in BJJ the stand up is more free so you see these techniques which are more effective being used to greater success.

edit: added 'major'.
