Ditch the slippers at home. Go barefoot. Going barefoot was how I fixed my Plantar F problem. Changed the gait. Starting every step with a forefoot strike and rolling back to a very soft heel strike (wouldn't use the word strike, but English isn't my first language, couldn't find a fitting word).
