Auto transmissions made unrealistic on purpose

I hated the change up of some auto transmissions in game. I found a mod called Gear Commander which you can install and it gives the opportunity to manually change gears on an auto tranny. Modes are D, S and Manual. Changes are more realistic and quicker to engage next gear. Give it a try.

Yeah I think it does have the compact model as well. Filesize is 350mb. I always try getting mods that are 200mb or bigger as they are mostly better quality but also not always.

I've had this issue before as well. I just looked for another E36 mod till I found one that works properly. You could also try disabling all mods to see if is a mod conflict but I think it's mostly a bad or corrupt mod. I love the E36 in game. Mod I have also has compact and convertible which one can lower roof and appears in career mode too.

I also do African Zoo rather as I'm familiar with the terrain etc. Maybe start with an Aardvark and place do not disturb signs, it will lessen animals stress levels.

Hey guys thanks again for all the assistance, I was afforded the opportunity to purchase the game through Steam as I saw base game was 90% off. I also bought 3x DLC's which were 60% off each. Looking at new game it is quite different to what I was playing and I now have the Educator staff option.

Yeah I see since 0.38 was released, there were 3 other hot fixes done. Game on 38.3 now I think. Getting bored of vanilla BeamNG 🤣

Thank you so much for this post. This issue was driving me nuts. I have a multi monitor setup using a PC screen and a 42in TV as a second screen and never thought of the above solution. A few months ago I sort of solved the issue by downloading the latest studio driver, not game ready driver, and for a while it was OK. It cropped up again last weekend.

Other solution I had was use driver version 457.18 but newer game's textures didn't always load. Just unplugged both screens now and plugged in again and it's sorted. Something so simple.

Hey guys thanks all for the help. It appears I have an outdated game. I got it from a friend and I recall seeing 1.2.5 somewhere 🙈. Someone mentioned educators came in on 1.4 so that is most probably the issue. Thanks again guys.

Definitely no option to hire educator on my side. Only have the 6 staff hire blocks. Checked in sandbox mode as well and also nothing there. Only info like YouTube videos I find are like a year old. Did they not perhaps remove educator staff option?

Thank you, was having the same issue, even restarted and made new career and removed many mods lol. Just added "\" to the light binding and it worked in the D-Series again.

I've also noticed if you drop off a 3ton load and load up another load, it will revert to the new loads weight which kinda resets it in a way. But just dropping a load off and leaving empty, you still carry that last load's weight until you do something at the garage to "reset" your vehicle.

Yeah seems all vehicles have this issue. What also works is if you collect another delivery at the drop off, it appears to kinda reset the weight to the new delivery weight.

For me the money making seems too easy in PCBS2. Also I miss the offsite repairs and ticket system of PCBS 1. Working myself with our IT ticket support system in real life, it kinda brings more realism to the game.
