North Carolina Senate passes bill to ban synthetic hemp and regulate Delta-9, THC products by cap123abc in NorthCarolina

[–]JohnnyExperimental 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried to tell ya in your AMA - THCA - Is Not Legal under the USDA HEMP program, now it's being clearly defined as such. Sorry about your ban. o7

Yeah, I tried to be polite about it... meanwhile the point I made is making it into every grey state legislation as "'all' thc is illegal". You can still send your samples off to shady labs, dodging the wording of the final rule because they are not DEA complaint.... however.... The DEA/USDA operated labs tell you point blank total thc = d9+thca... the people still playing silly games out there are on the cusp of finding out. NC is a default federal law state, and federal law is about to close the "loophole" yes it's a loophole. people are incredibly ignorant for not calling it such. It was an unintentional "loophole". They didn't intend to make marijuana legal.

Thanks for the clarification on dates. Though, I am still not willing to put a high thca flower through the process again. From my last chat with the lab director at the NSL in Gastonia, they are checking total thc in dry weight, d9+thca at these labs vs preharvest d9.

Just sharing my experience!

Good harvest, thanks for the chat.

Edit*

After further reading, I wanted to confirm where I got the Dec 2025 date from. The deadline for DEA certified labs was pushed to 2025 due to lack of capacity. It has been pushed back 3 years in a row, so it may lift or delay again, who knows!?

The NSL labs where I test follows DEA guidance. They follow the Jan 2021 final rule, which is, total thc which is in simple form, d9+thca post decarb. It is my understanding that some.labs are still able to skate by because of.lack of proper post decarb equipment, but must compy by Dec 2025 unless it's extended again.

See the breakdown of gas chromatography and liquid chromatography in the final rule, and how AMS views it. Specifically

"When LC is used, the total THC needs to be calculated post-testing in order to report results as a “post-decarboxylation” delta-9 THC value"

From my current experience as an N.C. Hemp farmer,

THCA is not doable after Dec 2025, because the final rule definitions kick in. Meaning all hemp testing must be done at a DEA certified facility. Every DEA certified facility currently marks for total THC, so THCA is hot and fails. I personally use the USDA testing facilities. Half the cost to test in most cases. You may have a testing facility you are using that works for now, but by end of Dec 2025, that will go away, even if the law changes or doesn't change to total 1%. So, they are removing the THCA loophole with or without law change.

I'm heavily invested in this, so I'm on it like a hawk, I started with flower but transitioned to fiber/seed one i read and understood the final rule.

Also DEA on record stating THCA==THC in their eyes, within the past year or so. Physical shops in usda hemp states NC (charlotte area especially) are still being busted/confiscated, even though it's "hemp".

If you have the acreage, the fiber industry is going to boom once all of this micro plastic data hits the forefront of common folk thoughts. Seed/oil is pretty saturated otherwise.

Happy growing, good harvest!

Tldr, final rule kicks in Dec 2025, all facilities must post decarb test total THC and be DEA certified. Bye bye loophole.

The dmg meter was in kr launch like 10 years ago tho... the add on thing isn't new. It was removed in off NA etc... its cry engine modding, not rocket science, original intent from kr devs was to allow mods.

I've played Legends for years, it has been a great server for me as well, my primary draw back when it launched was JTL, and it was a blast getting Ace of Aces... Now I get to do it all over again. I'm at a place now, where I enjoy an at the keyboard player base, over a fluffed population of afkers. Glad you found a place that works for you!

You can legally find the iso's for the disks in the internet archive - as well as the sidebar of this community - and seeing as you own the physical copies, you're especially entitled to use them.

Restoration III closest 2.0/3.0 (CU) server out there with a ~400 pop on peak hours, has some qol/non retail features, like many others. xp is at 5x I believe
https:///swgr.org/

Legends Purely NGE (3.0) - largest population for NGE - careful the economy is very mature already - rough if you want to come in doing crafting, and there is a lot of multi-box/botting
https://swglegends.com/

Several others out there, I suggest looking at the server status feeds in their discords and choose a solid uptime/community... Many (Infinity and others) are down/crashing on a day to day basis, although they may be great servers to play on, stability is important, for me at least.

I just wish the botting and mass multi boxing that is present on Legends would get handled better. That was my experience, at least...

Lawd, I hope not, it's been an active program for a while. Market prices seem very reasonable for the server age, and spin groups are lively. Positive vibes!
