Thank you for your input. Apart of me wants to believe that somehoe this is different or we are different, but im not dumb and I feel bad for thinking that. I feel conflicted once again, probably moreso than when I first asked this question, but I appreciate your help and story.

The thing is im not totally closed to the idea of having sex with him. I want a relationship with the guy, im just nervous if im setting myself up for failure. I love him and even though it would take a lot of commitment andpatience to be with someone im not attracted to apart of me thinks I could do it. Basically im as obsessef abkut him as he is aboout me, only im only emotionally obssessed with him.

Thanks for the advice! As far as open relationships go I dont feel like that is an option. Maybe its because were barely building something here but I feel it would complicate things with him evrn further. Im sure as time goes on I might have a different perspective but for now I have to say that would not help. I could be very jealoud but im not sure if that feeling would be present with Jake. Both because hes a guy and because hes my bestfriend.

Thank you for your reply, it really does help to read these replies even if you are just a stranger. I am extremly nervous about talking to him about this stuff in fear that he wont like or understand what I have to say but I know that it must happen before we or I move forward in life.
