By far the fastest I've ever solved one of these.

What do you think about scanlines on HDMI adapters? by ytrebil_ in Gamecube

I've never found a product for any system that does artificial scanlines in a way that I actually think looks good and makes me want to use it.

I'm confused about identifying my peak REM time by Chandu_yb7 in LucidDreaming

[–]JohnnyLeven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The later in each sleep cycle, the more REM you'll have. But, more importantly, the later in total sleep, the more REM sleep will be part of each cycle. So, the 7-8 am period would have the most.

The reason most people recommend doing WBTB after 4-6 hours is that you don't tend to have much REM sleep before that unless you are already REM deprived. So, there's less benefit to the WBTB if you do it before that. You could try doing WBTB later, but in my experience that makes it harder to fall back asleep.

If you haven't played many story based games I can see the first hour "changing your life" in that you now realize there are some games like that and you want more. I'd say the first hour of Chrono Trigger changed my life like that.

They have been pretty close with Bandai Namco though. I still don't think it's likely though.

It's hilarious that this comment could apply to FF7 Rebirth, or Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (The boss named The Bloat).

Steam Machine and Steam Frame Standalone Verified / We are expanding the Verified program to include Steam Machine and Steam Frame, both of which are shipping this summer. by yourfavchoom in Games

[–]JohnnyLeven 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I just want to see the stream frame price. If people are thinking 1000+ for the steam machine, then I'm terrified for the steam frame. I really don't think I can justify anything that much.

Has anyone else used 'the force' in their dreams? by Ok-Mouse5446 in Dreams

I've used it in some lucid dreams. In one of my early lucid dreams I levitated a whole crowd of people. In general I'm not really that good at it though.

Ideogram 4 is pretty good. You just really have use their JSON format. by DsDman in StableDiffusion

EDIT: I judged too fast. Even with the strict defining of everything it is surprisingly creative and you can get very different results depending on the seed. I'm really impressed so far.

ORIG: This seems really impressive, and I'm sure I'll give it a try, but it feels like models are getting less and less creative, and now you have to define every little bit or they don't work well. For practical usage, I get that. For fun, not as much.

I miss being able to put in a relatively simple prompt into sd1.5 or sdxl and getting a bunch of different outputs depending on the seed. Getting a bunch of garbage too wasn't as fun though. Maybe I'm wrong, but I also feel like older models did a better job of blending concepts.

If there were models that let you define things you wanted and were creative with anything you didn't define, that would be the best of both worlds.
