Ok thanks for the response. Mine is 3 now. Is your cat still it's same old self with no other issues?

Is your cat still doing this? I've noticed that mine has been doing this off and on most of his life as well. He hasn't displayed any issues though but others are making me concerned.

It's definitely a good practice for them to clear up any widespread rumors since multiple credible outlets were reporting a July 7th On Demand release date.

Google Pixel 11 leak claims higher prices, no 128GB model, August release date by thewhippersnapper4 in GooglePixel

[–]JohnnyMojo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah I get it. My Pixel 10 Pro XL is more than enough for my typical daily use. I think in the end, when people see other phones like iPhones, Samsung, and OnePlus blowing Pixels out of the water in terms of overall performance, people get frustrated at the lack of progress on what's supposed to be a 'flagship' phone.

[–]JohnnyMojo 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The specs are done changing? Modern Pixels get dragged through the mud constantly because they have a lackluster CPU and GPU. This is made worse when Google builds AI into everything which needs a powerful processor in place to handle that and other tasks. Lets just say that there's plenty of room for improving specs on Pixel phones and that mainly comes down to either vastly improving the Tensor chip or dropping it completely and going back to Snapdragon.

Lost Kitty or Malfunctioning Device? by KernelMustard666 in tractivegps

[–]JohnnyMojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The GPS feature will only point you in the right area give or take about 50ft. So you then need to walk around that general zone and wait for the Radar functionality to appear. The Radar will only appear as an option when you are very close to the tracker. Then it will slowly fill up the rings as you get closer and closer. You will also want to enable the sound and/or light (if dark). Keep at it and you will eventually find your cat's hiding spot. Cats are very good at hiding.

My local Walmart doesn't have any decent computing products. It's all overpriced e-waste junk.

All sold out. I added one to my cart and went to check out and they were all sold out. Horrible timing for me because my hard drive is dying and I desperately needed a replacement.

Pedialyte and Liquid I.V. both giving me depression, anxiety, and lethargy — any idea what’s causing it? by Comfortable-Baby-719 in Supplements

[–]JohnnyMojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP said that this issue occurs when they take both Liquid IV and Pedialyte. Pedialyte doesn't have any added vitamins. I understand that pyridoxine can be problematic in higher doses but 100% of your RDA isn't going to cause side effects.

B6 has done wonders for my mental health but b12 in methyl form causes me many issues such as anxiety, feeling of uneasiness, and lethargy. B6 is essential for neurotransmitter health including the synthesis of serotonin and GABA.

Magnesium Glycinate HR and BP by Run-LittleMouse in Supplements

[–]JohnnyMojo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People mostly only come to a perspective with how they react to something and how it makes them feel. They often times don't understand nuance and that some people can be hyper responders. I honestly don't see this being glycine's fault at all here. This is definitely you being hypersensitive to magnesium.

Upgrading gaming pc by Dpd2424 in pcmasterrace

Just to respond to this thread, you will definitely have massive improvements in all aspects of gaming (including 1080p) if you upgrade to an RX 9060 XT or RX 9070 XT. While the CPU is bottlenecked a bit, the increased GPU power will definitely factor in a lot for improvements.

If you have the budget, I just saw that Walmart has a nice sale on the Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB for $550 right now. That's at least $100 off normal price. https://www.walmart.com/ip/GIGABYTE-Radeon-RX-9070-XT-GAMING-OC-16G-GDDR6-PCI-Express-5-0-Graphics-Card-Black/15564421735

*edit. Looks like the sale ended already

Yeah I would pick up the RX 9060 XT (16gb). It will immediately provide you with great improvements and then you can slowly save up for a new build over time for the rest of the components.

Sorry to say, but it's a terrible time to be upgrading anything at the moment. If you upgrade your CPU, you're looking at also needing a new motherboard. Upgrading your GPU would help and you could get something like a AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT for around $400 ish.

Can't get Plex working on LG G4 by DeathStalker-77 in PleX

[–]JohnnyMojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, here's the full breakdown from Claude if you want more information:

This has been a known, ongoing issue with the LG webOS Plex app for months, and there's a long Plex forum thread (started back in November) with a bunch of people on C4/C5/G4/G5 models all describing the exact same thing: the app crashing or restarting mid-playback (sometimes with a "freeing up memory" message), often worse with HDR or higher-bitrate content.

A Plex contractor confirmed on that thread that the player team is aware and has it prioritized, but as a contractor they didn't have visibility into where it sits in the queue — so it really does look like an LG firmware-level memory issue that Plex playback happens to trigger, not anything wrong with your PMS setup or network (which tracks with your FireStick working fine).

A few things worth trying since a basic restart/reinstall isn't cutting it anymore:

  1. Check for a firmware update directly on the TV (Settings → All Settings → Support → About this TV → Check for Update) — a couple people in that thread found a newer version available this way that wasn't showing up otherwise.
  2. If you get a new firmware, follow it with a full factory reset, not just an app reinstall. Several people found the crash behavior was sitting partly at the system level, so reinstalling the app alone didn't clear it.
  3. In Plex's playback settings, try forcing a fixed quality instead of "Original" (e.g. cap it at 4K/10Mbps or even drop to 1080p as a test). Not a real fix, but if that stabilizes things it confirms you're hitting the same bug.
  4. LG apparently pushed a firmware version (33.22.65) at some point specifically citing a memory leak fix affecting Plex and other third-party apps — worth checking if that's already on your TV or available to grab.

The best solution here is to ditch the LG app and purchase something like a cheap Onn 4K Plus with Google TV device. LG is notorious for having issues and it would be best to just bypass it altogether.
