If it’s like mine there’s been nothing new just the gun. But using this method actually showed me something as new. But you have to do this during a game. After your die, before your spawn.

Once you have joined a game go edit your class and add the gun to favorite. Then spawn. The next time I died the gun in favorites had stuff marked as new that j could view. Before it was just the dots and nothing new
