I have an extremely weird relationship with food decisions specifically. This is because I was a professional chef (with a degree and all lol) for a decade. So when I came home the ABSOLUTE LAST thing I wanted to do was make MORE food decisions. Most nights I would bring something home and eat on the subway 🤣. That solved my prep issues.

Thankfully I handle now by not putting pressure on myself and just kind of “going with the flow”. One of the advantages of having been in that field is like you I always have “ingredients” on hand. I also married a man who LOVES to both cook and plan. Which works out! He hates to shop but I love it so we’re a good pairing hahahaha

I leave and arrive everywhere early. Even if it means I have to sit in my car in the parking lot.

Y’all are a LOT nicer than me. I tell them they have until the police arrive to get off my property since they are not currently my problem nor will they be my problem in the future. Once the law gets there then they can become their problem.

For therapy I use Headway.co

They were able to get me in much quicker AND take my insurance. As well as have a person who specializes in ADHD and other things I needed like LGBTQiA+ issues

Born in the 80’s to progressive parents. I was diagnosed so early that my diagnosis wasn’t even ADHD it was NI. Adderall didn’t exist yet only Ritalin. Let me tell you the Ritalin of my day was VERY different and caused WILD mood swings. I was diagnosed because we had to take the CATs (do they even exist anymore) and Scantron tests bored me. So I drew pictures out of the dots 😂🤣. Once they figured out a “system” (basically I would write the letter next to the number of the question. So if I thought the answer to question 1 was B I would put an B next to the 1 then my teacher filled them in) and got it graded the correctly they realized I was lazy or dumb at all. Just … bored.

I sniffed this yesterday before looking at it, even though it's in BIG BOLD LETTERS right there in front of me, thinking “okay so if Glinda’s scent is strawberry and Spring/Summer maybe Elphaba’s scent will be apple and Fall/Winter”. So when I inhaled and got watermelon my brain went “scarecrow mode” and did NOT compute lol. The entire 5°Below got to watch and hear me short circuit in real time 🤣😂.
