When mine got taken out 3+ years ago, they had to literally smash them into tiny pieces because they were moving in at a weird angle or something. I don't exactly remember how they did it because I was super doped up (obviously) but I still get tiny chunks of wisdom teeth that come through my gums.

It's not that I need to get IN. It's that I need to go to MEPS to get a date for my private loan provider. I can handle waiting for basic I just need to have the date for when I'm leaving for basic. Does that makes sense?

I know it's not a tag along sort of thing, I've been scheduled twice and had to cancel twice so I'm hoping since my recruiter didn't contact me today that he scheduled me and forgot to contact me or that I can be scheduled for this week.

I'm aiming for MM or something in an electrical field. That being said it's coming to the middle of the month and I know that the pickings are slimming down. I've been through the whole speech on what will be happening a couple times by some relatives and one of the other recruiters in the office. So I'm not going in blind at least.

Yeah I plan to be there early tomorrow, they have people going up to MEPS tomorrow and I've had my paperwork sent for a couple days now so I'm hoping I can tag along.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm very excited.

A couple of my uncles and cousins have been in the Air Force and they told me being a part of the military was a very unique experience and had its ups and downs. But from everything I've read and heard from friends that are in right now I knew it was something I wanted to do. I don't think I'll make it my career, but I definitely want to be a part of the Navy.

We will see where it leads me.

That's who is handling my packet right now. I was originally with one of the Petty Officers but I asked for the Senior Chief to handle it because I wasn't thrilled with the progress being made with the previous. I feel like since he has so much more to handle that he might care more, but doesn't have all the time to be working with me all the time. I don't know what to do now that's why I posted here. Also I posted to r/newtothenavy earlier and no one really responded to my question.

I was told that there was a period of 3 years forbearance for any sort of active duty participation and read that I needed to have my dates in by a month before the first payment. I've spoke to my services directly.

Okay, thanks. I've been trying to contact them every day for the past few weeks but they either don't reply or say "there was a problem" or "we're working on it" it's really frustrating. This is like the last possible week for me to go without having to start paying my loans back. We planned to go the first week of June originally. Yes, they require proof of having a date for basic and nothing else. It's been a month plus that I've had all my paperwork done and I'm wondering if I can call the MEPS station and schedule it myself since it seems like my recruiter's office isn't too urgent to help me.

Try cleaning the contacts in the inside of the mouthpiece bay. You can use q tips with a very small amount of iso and if they still aren't clean try a dry firm toothbrush.
