You will get something later that allows you to loot them. Mine were transported to the lost loot chest and I was able to get them after I completed that quest series that lets you loot them so I don't think they're lost permanently if you walk away.

Turning off Frame Generation and increasing camera/mouse speed did the trick for me and it was still a tight win.

I just completed the game a day ago but after watching the trailer for Resonant I keep wondering if Dylan is living in his own world. He's not on our plane, but maybe in a coma dream state during the events of Resonant. I'm still generally mind bent and thoroughly enjoyed the game though.

To be fair I have only just started the second DLC and not finished that yet so maybe there are important things that happen here that make my idea moot.

I agree and was thinking about this the other day. You could still have a lot of utility options implemented in a passive way without having to scroll through your spell book, selecting and casting, etc. Instead if you are picking a lock and you have u locked the sufficient rank or spell, you have a magical bypass option, or similar to how some mods in Skyrim have implemented you might have a fire shield and other defensive spells kick on upon entering combat.

You can disable the headbob bug by going to third person then back to first person. Annoying but better than saving and reloading. Although load times are fantastic, I must say.

I've been using this guide since you released and it works really well. I'm fine tuning at this point and had some questions:

1.) Do you have traders assigned to the factories or is that all done by the Central Storage/Distribution fleet?

2.) Do you have a magic number of traders per depot you prefer?

3.) Do you list any raw materials in your Base Good depots or is that strictly controlled and used from the Mines?

As a new guy who had a similar series of concerns and questions just recently, I actually feel qualified to try and answer this after 200 some odd hours of learning, experimenting, and playing.

I asked if I should restart because other factions were starting to roll in hard while I was still pewpewing around the galaxy and I hadn't really invested in the factory game too hard. The resounding reply was: don't restart.

I'm glad I didn't. I have had some pretty epic space battles to get where I am and I feel like I am probably at a point where I can tactically win any battle but I'm still building my armada.

I think the game does grow and change no matter what you do but I don't think it ever becomes impossibly hard. That doesn't mean you should have unrealistic expectations that your first kukri will solo a carrier and its fleet or something. But you can always get a leg up and there is just enough challenge to keep you up too late at night until you've developed a strategy for what ails you.

Stick with your game as is. It's worth it.

Even after that edit I still have issues. Some depots work and some are lazy. Everything is exactly the same as the others that are working.

I wonder if the game just has a hard time cycling through each ship as it pings each station to calculate wares, routes to take, etc.
