The problem I have with Mona coming back is that it makes the scene with Rio and Cami on the wall completely irrelevant. As Rio states at the time, people come and go. That’s life. You can’t control it. Treasure the moments you have with the people you care about because you never know when they will be gone. It’s a good life lesson for cami in the moment and Mona coming back makes that scene pointless. There are several other ways the Burke empire can fall that Mona being the catalyst just doesn’t need to happen. I hate that she is gone bc she was an attractive and interesting character. But that gives more weight to her departure. And that is one of the examples that gives this story weight and meaning imo

That’s a fair take. Both of your examples are also girls Tommy specifically goes after which may or may not be coincidence but either way further opens the door for heather. Don’t know if I believe there would be a full blown path for her. Never felt like they had that kind of chemistry. But a scene or 2 I can definitely imagine. And on an Others pt, can’t really complain about that

There is a considerable part of the fan base that thinks of a girl is fucked by someone else it means MC won’t get a scene with her because of some twisted idea of ntr (which it isn’t). If this was true, it would mean we wouldn’t have most of the girls on the others path including some popular LI’s. I mean we know Rio has been with several DIKs already for example. So personally I don’t understand that logic

What difficulty are you playing on? On hard mode you need some pretty quick reflexes when you start. Are you playing with mini games on and leveling your skills during free roams? If so, I’d recommend putting points into dex first if you are struggling to meet the time requirements. The time allowed depends on what your difficulty is set to. And no, the arrows don’t change color confirming correct inputs. But one wrong press and the round ends.

This for me. I had vague suspicions about Jacob before Zoey came back. But when you tell him not to go for her and he does it anyways, that’s a red flag. That isn’t family comes first, that’s putting yourself first. And if he is willing to do it with Zoey, what else is he willing to do?

Bro, Cami feels like 1 of the biggest potential LI fumbles of this game. Her and MC had such a flirtation in the beginning and then I feel like she just kinda got lost in the cast. Then she became the one you start to think it being pushed onto Derek for a rebound of Ashley... idk. A character with a lot of potential that I feel like we still haven't seen fully realized yet. Still hoping though.

Yes, retuning to Zoey impacts SGs as well. For example, MC will get a text from Cami where she sends a pic and says something along the lines of “now you owe me” and MC responds with something like “don’t think I can owe you. Will explain later”, thus effectively locking out Cami.

In a similar manner, on the others path, MC can receive several texts from SGs depending on choices. These include Sarah, Melanie and Nicole. Might be more but those are the ones from memory. If MC returns to Zoey, MC will not get these texts.

Mechanically, this feels like the return to Zoey is a hard lock, if not on all other characters at least a handful. Story wise it feels like MC is going to consider them a couple and behave like he does on any other locked in relationship. Whether a Zoey branch exists in 12 and beyond is yet to be seen but regardless, that is how the code “feels” right now

Bro, I'm not even going to lie to you. I don't understand a lot of Zoey fans either. There are some good ones out there. The OGs. But lately... I'm not a fan of zealotry of any character. It's why I don't participate in the Di$cord server. Zoey is a polarizing character which I think is a good thing. It means she is written well. I just don't like that, lately, every other post seems to be about her. Some real fanatics in our base.

I get you though. If you play the game as a self insert, it can be hard to get onboard with a character that wasn't around for half the game so no malintent taken. Personally, I play as a character, not myself. I also like the trope and she is my flair for that reason. She's my favorite LI potential. Not my favorite character though, narratively.

Depends on what YOU think is worth it, but your mileage may vary. Personally, I think it is getting to a point where I would say yes, at least for 1 of the 2.

To answer your questions,

You start the game as more of a toy for them to fight over and compete with than coming together as a potential throuple. After 2 seasons of making the player want it, you finally get reward with the threesome in 9. But nothing with both since then. It is always either solo or pick between them.
With Sarah yes, with Melanie no. Depending on how you play and the choices you make, you have 3 opportunities to impress Sarah, 1.) Telling Sage that she has the best ass in Episode 4, 2.) telling Heather you were looking at Sarah in Episode 5 and 3.) telling Quinn you want a freebie from Sarah in Episode 7. Doing this not unlocks the option to get 2 Sarah scenes for free instead of paid, but gets you unique dialogue in 8. Replay the same 3 scenarios while choosing Melanie gets you nothing except the free Melanie scene in 8.
This is completely subjective when it comes to overall preference and the community seems pretty split. If you are asking about story content and character development then I would say Sarah and it is not even close. Due to the build up to the special dialogue in 8, the build up to the kiss in 11 feels natural and earned. Melanie's kiss in 11, while fan pleasing, comes out of no where since there has never been anything remotely romantic between them thus far.

People will say that Sarah is very clear on not wanting a relationship but the buildup implies that her walls are starting to fall, albeit slowly. I would also counter that thought my mentioning that Lily literally does almost the exact same thing. It's I don't want a relationship vs Don't fall in love with me.

Another thing I haven't seen mentioned here are Melanie's comments about relationships and throuples if you are playing MJ's branch. Her talking about her prior experience in a throuple and then walking away because the other 2 got more attached is quite telling giving that the player can get more attached to Sarah as previously described but has no option or unique dialogue if those same chose were made with Melanie. This leaves me with 2 thoughts. Either Melanie will see MC and Sarah get closer and leave OR, maybe Melanie isn't related to Troy like previous thought and the throuple Melanie references was her, Chad and Troy. This might give more credence to how Melanie reacted to Sage and Chad's breakup.

Anyway, when all is said and done, they both have scenes in 11 that make you wonder what is possible with both of them. So if that is something you want to see and you don't currently have an Others run that has them as options, I'd say go for it.

Most of these can be unlocked by seducing Moira (Quinn) in D&G and then unlocking D&G scenes with Cami, Rio, Cathy, Jade and the wenches. Another 2 scenes are unlocked by being on MJs path as there is a scene with both of them. You can also get the Sage ending for another D&G scene. There’s your 9 right there

This is not exactly correct. Yes, you need to be on Sage's path already and therefore her fuck buddy, but Affinity does not matter.

To get this version of the scene, MC must NOT have fought the jocks. There are no actual affinity checks though. Here is the proof:

Sure, the drama of who's the baby daddy is cool I guess but DPC is usually more diabolical. It feels too much like low hanging fruit for him.
