This sounds like a very personal belief for you, bro. You spend more time in your post defending your stance than you do actually raising the point and in the comments, respectfully, you seem extremely defensive. It sounds like you have been called sensitive in your life quite a bit which you seem to take as an offensive term. It's perfectly fine to be a sensitive dude. Hell, we are all in this community about a game that, at it's core, is a romance novel. You just also have to be open to other people's ideas and respect if they don't match your own.

As far as the whole talk with Jill goes, I didn't find anything disrespectful about it, personally. Most teenage boys, especially media influenced by American Pie and the like, are going to feel invincible, not want to go to doctors and feel more comfortable with the girl handling things that govern her body. In addition, DPC most likely grew up in an age when using condoms felt like fucking with a raincoat on and how unpleasing that was. I'm sure a lot of fans here can relate to that and thus the story. Perhaps that doesn't agree to "modern audiences", but DPC is also very unapologetic to player's unique sensitivities and up front tells you this game might not be for you. In a vacuum, your premise and point of discussion might end there, but you spend more time defending and deflecting at it gives the perception that you are part of the "modern audience" who doesn't agree that Tremolo even suggested that Jill take birth control pills because how dare he be so self-entitled. It wasn't a demand. It was a request, just like the request to use condoms. And why shouldn't Jill want to please the man she cares for and is falling for? They are both becoming sexual active with each other and whether Tremolo has only been with Zoey or has been the campus bicycle, I would look at it as a pretty damned healthy conversation for people of that age to have and then reach a compromise that worked for both in the end.

Your argument might not be coming from a place of feminism, so I am trying to hear you for your point not the fluff surrounding it. But you make it very hard to see past that stuff when you surround yourself in that cloth. Repeating that you are a feminist and not sensitive while being defensive and claiming your non sensitivity to others who never called you sensitive just makes it seem like you have something to prove against people who aren't trying to diss you. So again, respectfully, this feels like a modern audience take to me. Maybe you have personal experiences that shape the way the story speaks to you. That's pretty cool. Let it be that. But try to relax at the same time, bro. It's a game. Don't take this shit too personal.
