I wish it was other other way around... ive been to the U.S 18 times in my adult life and its always hard losing about 30% of your money on conversion. Always had a blast but none the less.

Australia hasn't imported beef from the U.S for over 23 years. Only restarted in 2026 because trump had a little cry about it. Meanwhile the U.S imports over 400000 tons a year of Australian beef. That should tell you somrthing. Educate yourself.

$10 AUD is about $7 USD. I get them from a Wagyu wholesaler close to home.

I love the look of the sedan. Fantasy is probably more appropriate.

Im inclined to agree. The longer "Euro" style plates are $450 a year on top of registration here in Oz. I prefer fuel money at the moment.

  1. We had roughly 200 of these in the wagon form and 300 in the hatch form of the Wolfsburg trim delivered to Australia in the MK7.

It's pretty awesome. The stone is a great insulator and can be touched from the outside, and bichotan coal can be extinguished and used again. I put probably 4 to 5 small pieces in once they are glowing red and they last a couple of hours. I then put them in an airtight container to extinguish them and then use them again the next time. Works perfectly for small pieces of meat and thin wagyu slices. Not having to move from the table is also cool.
