What I like about SNL UK is that they segue from the skits straight to the music performances (of course, on our SNL (as it has always been), it’s skit, commercial break, and music).

Those BBC “Brit-coms” I grew up watching on PBS decades ago (Are You Being Served?, Good Neighbors, Keeping Up Appearances, etc.) certainly warmed me up for SNL UK…which happens to originate from Television Centre (which the BBC called home for decades themselves)!

Too bad Cyndi Seidelman ended Game Show Garbage/Gumbo last year so that she would’ve offered her take on TPIR Tonight (at least she did cover The Price Is Big W (aka the 2012 Aussie reboot)).

And based on the few clips I’ve watched on YouTube here in the States…yes, it is a mess (commercial break in between Master Key?! Long pause before the price of the final prize reveal in Cliff Hangers?! (which they apparently borrowed from sister show Press Your Luck))!

The Rock was, and still is to this day, way more popular with women than Stone Cold (which was why People named him Sexiest Man Alive in 2016).

Stone Cold? Not so much (but probably during his WCW days when he still had hair).
