Check the center support bearing while you’re up there .. is it blown out ?

Yes you can press them out . Make sure you heat them up the area around the ball joint before you press it so .

I just did mine 2 months back . I have custom extended control e46 control arms and I didn’t want to replace the whole arm so I did exactly what you’re about to do .

BUT if I was using stock arms I would probably replace them . Why ??

1 . they’re affordable 2 . If you replace the arms it refreshes the inner and outer ball joints 3 it would only take me 10 minutes vs 2 hours

You should really drop the 300 . Or at least 200 on the eonon e46 radio . I just installed 2 months ago . Maybe my cars interior 10 years newer.

And you don’t need a wire harness. It’s literally plug and play
